    Mag/calcium deficiency?

Got a massive nitrogen toxicity going into flower now most likely because I’m too high ppm. I’m letting the ppm drop as I refill hopefully will eventually correct itself

Cheers I’ll see what the smallest hooks I can find are

    Light winch

Perfect thanks and this way I could get my light fixture literally 10cm away from the ceiling right?

    Light winch

Perfect thanks. And when you raise the light you just tie the slack off on a hook or something on your wall? So if you accidentally let go your plants will be crushed right? Just need to ensure it’s tied offf well

    Light winch

Oh great. Never through of it like that with multiple pullies. Is the collection point as simple as tying the ropes together in a knot?

    Light winch

Got a picture I can see of this mate or what I should search google for? Completely confused by your description

    Light winch

Yeah like those but they are expensive. I may want the light to be very close to the ceiling at some point as I have a low ceiling. Connecting 4 together and then a central one adds a lot of unusable height right?

    Light winch

Anyone got any advice as to how to setup or design a winch to lower a light fixture that would be 4m long and 1m wide all at once without having to adjust several strings? Cheers

    Plugs to the loft?

If you wire the cables correctly as per a diagram online I don’t see how it won’t be safe tbh If your only using 600w flex extension may be ok. But going high on watts would always be safer to use a proper socket extension

    Plugs to the loft?

You can diy the spur In the UK no more difficult than wiring a plug imo. An extension lead would work but not best practice. The higher watts you start doing the more of a risk it gets.

Algae growing in new DWC, should I restart?! Help

When I had this issue years ago I just went and bought tin foil tape. Covered my lid with it and it sorted the issue. It’s a cheaper and less time consuming option you can consider if you want

    Plugs to the loft?

Buy a few meters of cable depending on where your from here in Europe you’d need a twin and earth and extend the radial ring or add a spur

    Newbie to the max

It will grow but doubt you’ll get much in the way of usable bud the 25w led grow light may as well be dumped as I doubt it’s even 25w from the wall

    Nutrient Deficiency In Dire Need

Your not going to kill it by watering with just water one more time until get soil. It’s only a bit of nute burn it looks ok other than that

    Nutrient Deficiency In Dire Need

Change your soil to a recommended brand from a soil grower on here. I’m sure one of the guys will pipe up with a recommendation

    Nutrient Deficiency In Dire Need

It doesnt explain how your nute burned. Your leaves are extremely dark green and exhibit the claw from nitrogen toxicity. I don’t see how a simple seed starter mix did this to you

    Nutrient Deficiency In Dire Need

Ah got you. Didn’t realise the nutrients took time to release. Thought they released whenever watered so more water = more release

    Nutrient Deficiency In Dire Need

Never used these kind of soils but if flushing releases nutes like you say wouldn’t you just keep flooding it with water and the nutes get released and go straight down the drain? Surely flushing would still work. Unless your saying the nutes aren’t soluble in water?

    Nutrient Deficiency In Dire Need

If that’s the case what you got it planted in? some nuclear waste? Only time I’ve ever seen nute burn like that from no nutes is when I added too much earth worm casting to my soil mix
