Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Thanks a lot mate! I will work on this and report back one changes have been made. And would you recommend I try the top feed with the 1056GPH pump or the 300GPH pump? Haha.. if only it was that easy! I can change the drawing, but budget can not fit new/larger bulkheads. The purple/blue was...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

^No prob! Post your build up once you make it, I'd love to see what you build to! Is this what you mean, a section of piping for each one to fill before it goes into the hdx tote? My only worry with this is, what if the pump empties my Res too fast and over fills my containers? Or should...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

@Cold$moke I was not really thinking velocity when restricting the flow in front of the pump, merely trying to slow down the water so the last bucket would not empty before it could refill. It did work, but it's definitely not ideal, and definitely a short-term solution. So you are suggesting...

    Root rot Pythium help

You could get a small aquarium heater or just add a bucket of warm water and see if the water temp stays stable. Then you can run Tea. Or if you go the Sterile route, just follow what Cold said! I've read a lot of good about Hydrogaurd. I may try it next run myself and as a preventative.

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

It's an ActiveAqua250 .. rated at 300GPH. With the washer restricting flow, it literally only trickles like you have you tap on low. It's crucial at the very least, even with the air stones if I unplug the pump my girls start to droop a little, with the trickle they're fine. ^I know! that's...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

No I have not, thanks for the tip! Is grease better than sealant? I had purchased something like this one below... but the way the 100+gallons of water would bow the brute-bucket slightly, it would make the uniseal want to push out a little. They really did not want to stay in even though they...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

I don't see any other way to make this hdx system work, and have levelled buckets while being able to run my pump at full speed. > Increase pathways of flow? More smaller lines like above. > Increase the size of the 3/4" piping in my current design to a 2" or 3"? Too costly at this point in...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Mhmm... I'm starting to think you got this figured out! AH! That helps me makes sense of it better in my mind! Thanks mate! I will be back on that one in some time. Putting pipes in uniseals is no easy job, and I can barely lift bag of soil. My buddy helped me put it together and then take...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

That's right (no four inch return:neutral:).. my budget was maxed before the second tote setup. I did not want to put the 4" uniseals into the totes and still end up with a leak, so I went with 3/4" Bulkheads. ^Why 3/4" bulkheads? Literally the ONLY thing I could find online, shipped in a...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

That's basically it. . 3/4" Bulkhead with slip, on both sides of each container. 3/4" flex pipe connects bulkheads between each container. Out of view (outside of tent) is a brute with a 3/4" bulkhead with slip, also connected to the first HDX with the same 3/4" flex pipe. (All in a straight...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Hmm that's an interesting idea! If I didn't disassemble that system already I might have given it a go.. but I switched it for the HDX+3/4"bulkheads. I may play around with that setup again in the future, but not any time soon.. It's taxing work. It's just, every solution seems to be...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

I put a 3/4" fitting on the 250pump (Which is actually rated at 300GPH). And my last bucket half emptied after a minute or two and it was not filling back up fast enough. ^It's an Active Aqua pump. It's really tiny... would I be okay running it 24/7 or should I put it on a timer off-on-off-on...

    Best strains to grow indoors?

It's subjective and all comes down to personal preference. OP, the odds of you getting a GSC that is from the same breeder, and then a similar Pheno to what Axle had is very slim. If you had a much more specific question we may be able to offer better strain suggestions. I'd just suggest...

Humidity dome for germing yea or nae?

Ginger and OldMed got it! You're in good hands OP! :bigjoint: Just consider why you are really using a Humidity Dome and the answer would really come down to your room environment. - Low Humidity? Use a Dome or Plastic Wrap/Bag/Cover. - High Humidity? Maybe not necessary.

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Two both replies above, that is reassuring! Although if you've been following my other threads you know I've been on a rollercoaster. NRG .. 2.25lbs from a 13gal... very nice! So far so good with the system being nice and water-tight! So I hooked up my 1056GPH pump, and it fills up the Res so...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

It's 3/4" Bulkhead, not Uniseal. (Although it's the same diameter so I don't think it matters..) I'm hoping it won't ....but I will address it if it comes. It's built and running great now. At this point I just want to have the system up and running and work for one cycle. After that I'll...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Firsttime- That's sort of what I ended up doing. 27Gal HDX type with 3/4" bulkheads. Damn its freaking solid now!:bigjoint: (I have no Idea why I was convinced through my reseach that a large uniseal was the way to go....) I was slightly worried about roots with 3/4bulkhead, but I don't...

Drip Drip Goes The Uniseal (Leaking!)

Cool.. Yeah I'd really rather not take short-cuts or temporary fixes. Don't want a leak half way into flower because I cut corners. I thought that Brute containers were high quality plastic.... which they are. I can fill it to the brim and not even slightly bowed... but once it had those huge...

    clones problems

Did you take them recently? When clones roots start to take, they will yellow as they're using nutrients. You can start feeding really low 1/4, 1/8th strength nutrients. Or a simple Root Stim/Vitamin/Booster could help.

    Ph and sludge build up

Op, since you're still waiting - here's some food for thought. Pics would help! PH and PPM levels also. You are in Hydro/DWC? (I read something about botanical pro soil line and something about a pump. Or are you using soil nutes in the doc? Sorry a little confused.) I am not sure what geoteck...
