    Led Users Unite!

Sorry my bad... I actually meant the CLU058 1825. Early tests show them to be really good COBs. If u can get them cheaper than 3590 I'd say you'd be a fool not to grab them. This way you can run close to 600W from only 8 COBs, which I think was what you were really wanting to do, right?

    Led Users Unite!

I really like the look of the CLU048 1825... in fact my next build will utilise 8 of them run at 1400mA for around 72W each, and around 580W total. At this current they are approximately the same efficiency as CXB3590 putting out 50W. They cost about the same price as the CXB, so it's a no...

    Led Users Unite!

It's an extra 25% power minus a bit of efficiency... so say somewhere in the region of 22% more light.

    Matching Drivers and COBs

This type of driver is slightly different. I believe that is constant voltage instead of constant current. I do not use this type, but I believe you must wire in parallel in order to use these. So that 24A would be divided by the number of COBs in a parallel configuration. I think you would need...

I just did a quick search for this driver, to check the specs for you... but I cannot find it. You got a link @ttystikk ?

    My first CXB 3590 run...

I hear you. I live in a very hard water area with tap water reading 2+ EC regularly. I have to buy RO water in 5 gallon bottles and it is a major pita. I was toying with the idea of buying my own RO system... I did not realise calcium carbonate killed them!! That is kinda ironic since that is...

    Matching Drivers and COBs

You will need more than one HLG-320H-C2100B to run 8 CXBs. As the name suggests this driver outputs maximum 320W. You would need 2 of these drivers to run your 8 CXB. good luck

    Matching Drivers and COBs

With the dimmable Meanwell drivers you will need at least 2x CX3590 to be inside the driver voltage range. If you go for the HLG-120H-C1400B you can run 2-3 COBS, and with HLG-185H-C1400B you could run 2-4 COBS I believe. You can get smaller Meanwell drivers that will run a single COB but they...

Guys Help - How do My buds look @ 242ppfd?

Nice looking haul there. With that said, GPW is a kinda pointless measurement as it does not account for veg time... which is a huge factor in terms of yield. I would be very interested to know your grams per kilowatt hour figure if you don't mind?

Citizen COBs are so cool that Citizen don't even want to sell them.

Seems like these guys are working towards that end. I would have to import the alu angle to my country anyway, so if I can add it to my order here it would be great!

Your site looks good - nice to have another option for sourcing stuff :) I'm looking to buy a bunch of components for a new 1825 build, to include heatsinks, HLG-240H-C1400B's, and possibly aluminium angle for the frame. If I could get these all from the same vendor it would be great!! Here's...

Are Cob lights ideal for veg and flower?

Lol I doubt you've been using them that long since they weren't yet invented, but nice try hahahahaha. I was just going by your comment that was all. Fair enough you don't like COB bud, but I am pretty happy with mine and so are most people here. Oh well, you can't please everybody eh. As it...

It sounds from this like you have never even tested COBs which obviously makes your opinion moot.

12 Plants Under ~600w Cob Leds

TDS meters actually measure EC (electrical conductivity) and then convert that internally to TDS using a conversion factor of 0.5 or 0.7 to calculate PPM. Many people find it simpler and easier to talk in terms of EC. At 410ppm TDS with a 0.5 conversion factor you are feeding approx 0.8 EC...
