Magicalbutter.com MB2 Machine Review, Tips, Tricks, Recipes

I see where on these posts people are decarb'ng before using the MB2. Is is that you don't trust the decarb function built into the machine? ...because I don't. It's my understanding that you need to decarb at 240f for at least 20 mins to fully remove the acid. Since boiling point on...

Trich Check Please - Nordle Starting Week 9

Thanks, it's a clear headed hyperfocused feel to me - not so much a buzz - great daytime meds. I think the 1:1 CBD to THC is kinda negates itself. If I want a buzz, I have other strains for that. It also immediately wipes out any nerve pain in my back. The seedbanks sell it.

Trich Check Please - Nordle Starting Week 9

Thank you - that's kinda what I was thinking as well, I'll keep monitoring and posting up shots for opinions. This is a 1:1 CBD/THC strain, I want to catch it at it's full ripeness. I'm using a celestron handheld digital microscope. I take a video while I hold it to the bud and zoom my...

    Curing for Tinctures

I'm coming up on my third harvest ever. I grow mainly CBD Nordle and process it into a whole plant tincture. I've been jar curing then processing. But then I started wondering why am I waiting - all I need to do is dry and process. I see threads on how curing helps with potency - I just don't...

Trich Check Please - Nordle Starting Week 9

I'm looking for peak, I'm not concerned with speedy or sedating as much where would the peak production of medicine be. I usually wait until some amber shows up in the calyx before harvesting - there are always some amber on the sugar leaves - here are shots from the inner most I could get in...

Air conditioner in a closed loop setup

I did, and followed the one that makes sense. It's pretty straightforward just vent in the intake to the compressor and and exhaust out the outflow all to the outside of the tent. I also supplied an exhaust boost with an inline fan. What I want is a way to bypass the sensor that kicks on the...

Air conditioner in a closed loop setup

Damn...... I'll bet you're right. Actually everyone who replied is probably right. I can't work on it right now but I'll move it to the top of the tent tomorrow and see how it goes. It makes sense - I'll let you know! Thanks to everyone who replied

Air conditioner in a closed loop setup

I'm trying to keep my tent cooled, I installed a portable AC and did a DIY split AC setup in a closed loop (CEA) setup. I intake the air outside the tent and exhaust the are outside the tent to the attic. For some reason the AC will blow cold for a little, then turns the compressor off but...

    Organic and Hydro Comparison

Thanks for your reply - the thread title may be a bit misleading. I'm comparing the physical characteristics of a plant grown in soil to the one in hydro not why one would choose hydro over soil or visa versa. There are definitely major differences in stretch and growth and even bud formation.

    Organic and Hydro Comparison

Thank you hbbum, I have followed your RDWC and have been following your ebb flow grow and there are a lot of similarities in the stretch. I've been running an induction light (inda-gro par-420) which is suppose to equal a 1000watt MH) from rooted clone to current. I have an 8' high tent and my...

    Organic and Hydro Comparison

Awesome experiment, thanks for the post. I have no doubts about the quality hydro will produce and that's not quite the comparison I'm referring to. I'm looking at the physical characteristics of the plant itself in soil or in nutrients. Great post however!

    Organic and Hydro Comparison

In switching over from soil to hydro and had two soil 2 month olds that I decided to let finish out. Thought I would post up a shot of what's going on at 3 weeks of flipping the lights. The ones in the front are 5 month old organic soil and sitting on a 6" riser. They are noticeably shorter...

    RDWC water change question.

What I've been doing my undercurrent setup is connect a hose to the output side of the res and pump out the solution. I then flush with RO and pump it out, and fill it up again with fresh RO. I always get a 0 ppm reading and don't move my gals at all.

HBBum Going Hydro - F*cking Incredible OG

I spent a lot of time building mine to make changing the rez easy, so I have a separate sump and fill system and a chiller. I think I remembered you said you were hauling ice and water, that would get old quick! I'm looking to do an ebb/flow for my veg - how is yours going? I would imagine...

HBBum Going Hydro - F*cking Incredible OG

Awesome - I've been enjoying watching this. As a first time hydro soil convert myself, I have finally started my buckets and have been amazed at how fast things are moving. Can't wait to hear your dry weight!
