I use pro mix with the botanicare line. I like the fact that it becomes pretty predictable once you start to dial things in. After this grow is done you'll probabaly take a few days to make the changes that you'll be thinking about by the time you're finished. I'm about to start my 4th run and I've made changes (small ones, upgrades) between all runs. Have fun. Great work.

I'm in a condo and grew on my balcony this past summer despite gale force winds at times. I staked the plants but also fashioned a wind screen from an old screen door. Really worked well.

I had similar symptoms and it was due to a ph lockout. I use tap water that i found was ph'd after nutes but plain water was 8 and threw the whole thing off.

I have the same tent with a 600w as well. I'm relatively new but it's a good setup. You're using the extra bars to keep the sides of the tent out due to negative pressure? My tent came with three and I use one for the light but it looks like you have them all the way around. Anyway good luck!

I would say "bad" because the less stress you put on the plant the faster it will recover after transplant. Why do you want to rinse the roots?

I have a Secret Jardin 3x3 and it came with 3x3' bars and ends to hang stuff. I'm only using one to hang my 600 hid light. I used some 1/2" neoprene that came as packing material for an office chair to fashion pole clips to hold the bar in place. It's also easy to remove and/or adjust.
