    Females at an early age

At about 4 weeks right? This happened to me recently (outdoor grow) and I was ecstatic to find out my plant was a female! :) But this has only happened once. Is it just more noticeable when the plant is a female? (This was my first). All the males have only shown me balls once they've been on...

Ballast heat- when to be worried?

My ballast (only running about 4 hours a day at the moment) heats up after it's been turned on for about 2 hours. I would definitely describe it as hot rather than warm but it's still OK to touch it. How much does your ballast heat up?

    Females at an early age

OOI...wouldn't this induce some kind of biological stress in the plant and thus risking it turning Hermie?

    Wattage to grow space size

Unfortunately this table doesn't have a 100watt but it explains the Lumen output for 150> How many plants were you thinking of growing per HPS?

    100 watt light fixture 250watt bulb :/

Recently I've been using a 250watt HPS system I bought for flowering to help vegging plants recover from transplantation. I've just noticed that there is a sticker on the light fixture that says it is designed for a 100watt bulb in a horizontal position there is also another sticker that says...

    First female?

:-D:-D:-D Yay! Finally!:bigjoint: I don't get it though...it's mid summer and she's not on a 12/12 cycle...all my other plants (that have turned out to be males) were put on this cycle before flowering. It's bag seed so could I have just got a random auto-flowering strain? Should I even bother...

can u tell me if my plant is a male or female yet?

I think the pics would come out better if you turned your lights off and just use a low wattage lamp. The light is distorting the pic heaps.

    First female?

I have a couple of plants growing outside and most have turned out to be male. The one pictured below isn't even on a 12/12 cycle yet but she seem's like she's showing pistons. Any idea if she's female or not? + rep

First indoor grow- Newb in learning

I dn't think they're root bound just yet. Their root systems were fairly small when I transplanted them and the pots are about a gallon so I figure they could vegg in these pots until I know their sex. Someone suggested on another thread I made, that the plants probably suffered root damage...

    Elecrical safety question

Hi :) Currently I have a couple of CFL's running alongside a 250watt HPS. I only recently added the HPS to provide some good quality light whilst they recover from transplantation. The problem is that the HPS system is relatively close to the CFL's and it's producing a lot of heat. Is this going...
