    I started growing super hots outdoors about 6 or 7 years ago. The first 3 years was a lot of trial and error. I now have things pretty tuned in and and have harvested great crops the last few years. I ended up with 4.5 gallons of dried peppers this year.

    Peppers are notoriously light, finicky feeders. It may take a few grows to tweak the feeding program in hydro.

    You can pH your water going in all you want but it will buffer to the mediums pH within an hour or less. What Bugeye said is correct.

    Keep them as healthy as possible until transplant. Then when transplanting be sure to score the root ball about a 1/4 inch deep along the sides 4 times and score an X a the bottom. Be sure to use a clean, sharp blade when doing this. You should be fine.
