I've been using T5's for some time now, currently using a 4 bulb T5 and have decent grows, sure it's not as great as MH or HPS but it does work and the smoke is decent, for low budget, I'd say better than nothing, and certainly better than cfl's.

I usually mix 4 gals at a time and it takes more than 2 to 3 weeks 'till it's used up, I've never seen any problems keeping it this long and sometimes longer, I say no problems, btw I use GH 3 part flora series.

Seems to me you're drowning your seed, don''t need a pump running 30 min, just water your cube once or twice a day so as not to let it dry out, maybe put a hood on it so it doesn't dry out too fast, keep it warm.

You're growing in soiless medium, hydro, and adding all that other stuff to your babies when they don't need it yet, seems to me you've burned them, go easy with them they're just young sprouts, you should be adding a small solution of nutes gradually as they grow, go easy with them.

I agree, the best way to be sure is to invest in a TDS meter (ppm), in my experience it's the best way to be sure of the strength of your nutes, especially for hydro, seems to me manufacturing suggestions are always way too high.

Gotta agree, temps at 45 is way too cold and it will def effect your yield, as said, try to maintain your temps, I strive for no less than 65 deg.
