    Airy buds

Thanks bro! I tried my usb scope earlier but will have to wait until lights off in the morning. it creates too much glare on my laptop and i can't see anything. will post 'em in the morning. I'll update that thread with imgur links, didn't think about it but some sites won't let us see images...

    Airy buds

I know, when the site crashed i signed up and created a thread at grasscity, have a link to it in my grow thread here in sig. I also created an account at imgur or whatever it is but have no photos uploaded as of now. What is screwing with me the most i think, is wanting to keep it in the dark a...

    Airy buds

Good to know! I wish you guys in the know would help me determine if/when mine is ready (link in sig). She is on day 53 of flower now and there are links to current photos. I am seeing several colas that look finished to me but others still have white hairs sticking straight out. Am to the point...

How much light is too much light during veg?

    Airy buds

This is kind of what I am thinking also. Is this your first time doing this? I mean, it sounds like you did everything correctly to me. Its just normal for it to lose the water weight. *edit* if they are not dense enough when dry, you need more light in flower.

How much light is too much light during veg?

I really don't think all that lighting is going to help a great deal at this early stage, even all during veg, it is not necessary. That will be most beneficial when you flower... Save it for then. You are going to have to grow the plants out at least 6-8 weeks before they will be mature enough...

    Ppm question.

I have here what is recommended by AN. Although you have different nutes, am sure the ppm's should be the same i would think. sorry if this don't help ya but think it might... remember, as it says, those ppms are for the entire week, not each feeding. Advanced Nutrients Feeding Guidelines...

To Trim or Not to Trim.....

i say remove the stuff under the canopy, it is expending energy on what will become popcorn buds anyway. i vote we remove 'em and continue to pinch 'em off as they try to grow back. I have been doing that in previous grows, but not this time as much since i was hoping the under-canopy lighting i...

    Harvey's #3: Northern Lights (fem)[Nirvana]

What timer? you don't want to be screwing with the light cycle, it will turn into a male on ya feminized or not. Scrogging is nothing, just let it get about 2' tall or so, let it grow until it's just poking thru the screen (depending on how much space you have), remove all the lower leaves...

    Harvey's #3: Northern Lights (fem)[Nirvana]

no, veg is generally pretty boring so i only start weekly photos during flower unless i need one for something. i am probably the laziest person you ever met. i want to put the plant into the cabinet, close the doors and open them again when it is time to harvest and am constantly working to get...

Temp is 59 degrees grow cabinet

lol... that'll learn ya'. I have weatherstripped it as best i can, it is just a warped frame. wish i could find some of that refrigerator magnetic stuff by the roll or foot.

Temp is 59 degrees grow cabinet

I tried the positive pressure thing with a forced-air intake in addition to the filter/exhaust but it created an odor problem for me. it was forcing air and odor through small cracks around the doors. I have door gaps so large I have to cover the doors with panda film to prevent light leaks. so...

Temp is 59 degrees grow cabinet

I have one similar to that. problem is, and i guess it really ain't a problem until flower, but those type turn the device off/on, this one keeps the air moving and just slows it down/speeds it up as necessary.

Temp is 59 degrees grow cabinet

can you not turn on the a/c in your house? Use the exhaust fan, air conditioning and a humidifier outside the cab if it's not the cool-mist type. adjusting the exhaust fan speed is going to work you to death with changing weather conditions outside. When you can afford it, i highly recommend...

Temp is 59 degrees grow cabinet

I use a cool-mist humidifier. those type won't add any heat.

Temp is 59 degrees grow cabinet

you said you have a carbon filter. that should be attached to an inline fan used to exhaust the heat and odor. that would be the best solution IMO. suck the heat out. turn on the a/c.

    first grow seedling day 3

Oh, HID lighting would cause that bleached look and that sounds like what it is. Light Burn. HID lights are a different animal that floros and should be 14-16" from the tops. And you are right about the dirt... it's too late now. are those containers what you plan to flower in?
