    Beans from 1985

A bro called me today with the news he'd rediscovered his seed stash, lost since his last house move ages ago. They were in a ziplock bag, stuffed into a bin full of camping clothing, and left in a closet for fifteen years. During the fifteen years before that they had stable storage conditions...

I want to get started cloning...need recommendations

You definitely need a light, but I think my t5 is more than I need for this small bucket and little clones. I have reasonable humidity levels with my setup, around 35%, so I don't use a dome and I don't use a heat pad. Ambient temp in my clone room is about 75F. If I felt I needed more humidity...

Reading the replies in this thread reawakens my appreciation and joy of discovery around this amazing plant. They truly are magnificent and complex creatures.

    Fiskars Pruning Snips - Titanium

I bought six sets of these when I got started. I have never regretted the purchase; I think I use these tools more than any other in the garden on a regular basis, except maybe the small trowel. Edit: and they are very well made, and have a better action than the others I tried.

I want to get started cloning...need recommendations

I used to be a Luddite, cloned using tap water and rapid rooters and nothing else. I had good results but I did manage to kill some of my clones with overwatering and drying out. I've switched to a simple 2 gallon 16 site aerocloner and a T5 light; could not be happier. I wish I had switched...

Best Place To Get Alaskan Thunderfuck seeds

I have yet to find the MTF strain that my college buddy used to get from Fairbanks every quarter in 90'. I have looked for ages. Nothing comes close to the purplish velvet original; it may have been outdoor as the buds were always covered with close guard leaves that were drenched in frost. Very...

    Pile of curing weed

I'm in Colorado, and poorly cured bud is the norm in retail settings, for the reasons others have listed. If we're a nexus of legal weed, and this is what we get for curing, I can't imagine it's much better elsewhere. I think I will have to try BobCajun's technique for myself and see how I...

When is the best time to harvest Bubba Kush?

My last harvest was pre98 bubba kush that went 80 days in flower; I cut it down just as it began to show amber.

    Pile of curing weed

Burying does not mold the bud if it is prepared properly. In this process the bud is rolled in a corn or other plant husk, then tightly wrapped with fiber, creating a bundle called a cob. Cobs are gathered together in a larger bundle, which is buried in the ground for a year. The anaerobic...

Who's Got The Fostiest Buds? Let's See How Frosty A Bud Can Really Get?

Awesome, never seen this particular trick before, but it seems very low tech and simple to employ. I've seen plants rebound in amazing ways in veg stage, but never this kind of response to stress in bloom.

Hello Friends! Colorado grower checking in...

Great town! I'm in Longmont, right around the south end near Niwot-- sometimes my neighbors call this area 'Longtucky'. If you know where Haystack Mtn is, I live right down the road. Such a time and place to find myself-- at the heart of the legal marijuana scene! It's also my business, I...

Hello Friends! Colorado grower checking in...

New member here, long time toker and new to growing with about 3-4 runs under my belt. I live in the fantastic state of CO, on a small one-acre plot with a 400sqft greenhouse, so I am focused on a hybrid outdoor / greenhouse set up which lets me extend the outdoor grow season. I use a T5 light...
