Reading the replies in this thread reawakens my appreciation and joy of discovery around this amazing plant. They truly are magnificent and complex creatures.

I bought six sets of these when I got started. I have never regretted the purchase; I think I use these tools more than any other in the garden on a regular basis, except maybe the small trowel. Edit: and they are very well made, and have a better action than the others I tried.
