What's happening to my plant? Weird spots

Plus lime will raise your ph the more you add

What's happening to my plant? Weird spots

Lol if you're running synthetics DONT run dolomite lime. You won't have the microbiome to break it down to a usable form for your plant. But if you're running organics, yes it works great but cal mag products work better, unless were talking about soil.

What's happening to my plant? Weird spots

Wow that is pretty low even for coco. Is that your medium? And your ph reading should be paired to either synthetic nutrients (5.8 ideal imo) or organic nutrients (6.5 ideal imo)

    Soil mix?

You could either run a super soil or a more safe approach. Here's my outdoor mix: (per 30 gallon container) Happy frog base soil Canadian peat moss (about 1/5 the amount of soil) Worm gold plus earthworm castings (3 cups) Extra perlite Extra vermiculite Insect frass (1/2 cup) Dolomite lime ( 1...

What's happening to my plant? Weird spots

Edit: I was just looking at other peoples calc deficiencies in the early stages and it def looks similar to your problem. Just know though that it could be multiple faucets causing it though if thats the case. Again 1 being rootbound can lock out nutrients, ph imbalance, or excess/too little of...

What's happening to my plant? Weird spots

Rust mold definitely looks like that. I'd definitely check my run off for ph issues first though. Second, what size pot is it in? Is it potentially super rootbound? I've seen out of this world deficiencies with root bound plants. Another option could be a micro nutrient deficiency..do you use...

I need help from a true growing genius

What I'm saying is your plant can become contaminated with a pathogen---virus or not. Could be fungal or bacterial. whether that be transmitted through bugs, or other means like clones getting infected in an aero cloner. That can make your plants do weird things..including strange growth patterns.

I need help from a true growing genius

Yeah hes confusing the general public. People use "virus" as a general term dude. Just because your plant didnt contract Tmv per se, doesnt mean it's not eternally sick. It could definitely have contracted a bacterial or fungal disease along the way. You had even described it in what you said...

But anyway, leaves will start yellowing as well if it's a calcium def. So keep an eye out for that

What's happening to my plant? Weird spots

Yeah, rust mold came to mind too. But honestly I hate ffof I've always had problems with it, have switched to happy frog. Seems npk balance is off with ffof especially when you start adding nutes. Problem with cal mag is, is it's not organic, and is a salt. So over time itll kill your microbiome...
