    Why all the hairs

Your plant is dying. If you don't switch to a 14/17hr light cycle right now, you may end up with something known as Opiatum Cannabius, which is a lethal derivative of the flower and only comes about under severe stress. If you smoke any material from this plant, you will be thrown into a devil...

So, I've had 1 Jack Herer, 1 Blue Cheese and 1 Sweet Deep Grapefruit outside since mid april. They were getting too big for my garden and I started to get paranoid that my neighbours would be able to see them, especially since they would have had to be outside until the end of september at...

best week to plant outside in UK

Trust, as long as it's not too cold, you're fine to put them out. Mine went outside yesterday.

best week to plant outside in UK

Civil Twilight in your area is currently over 14 hours so you're fine to start now. Basically mate, if it's warm enough for you to put your plants outdoors, then go for it :)

Photoperiodic responses & when to plant outdoors

Sorry mate I didn't know you were referring specifically to civil dawn and dusk, because you can also have nautical and astronomical dawn&dusk, basically a synonym for twilight, which as I said, has three stages. So yeh lol, glad we meant the same thing :)

Photoperiodic responses & when to plant outdoors

I agree on what you say about plants showing their sex, which is usually, as you said, at 5-8 weeks of age. However, as I said earlier, you also need to take civil twilight into account because your plants will be fine well before the waxing moon phase and will not flower. For example, on the...

Photoperiodic responses & when to plant outdoors

Totally in agreement, let me explain the twilight part. Basically there is actual daylength, i.e. the time between sunrise and sunset, and then there are the twilight phases. There are 3 phases of twilight, both before sunrise and after sunset. These are; civil, astronomical, and nautical...

Photoperiodic responses & when to plant outdoors

So this year will be my first outdoor grow. There seems to be a lot of rumor and myth about when exactly to start your plants outdoors, so I decided to do my own research into it. Many say it's fine after the spring equinox (March 20th in the northern hemisphere), while others say it can be done...

    Plastic in soil? dafuq!

do you think this will harm the plants though?

    Plastic in soil? dafuq!

nope, I mean actual bits of plastic as big as my finger, some soft, some hard. Never come across this.

    Plastic in soil? dafuq!

So yeah, went to a garden centre I'd never been to, and bought some soil recommended by the dude there. He said it only had mild nutrients mixed in. Got home and found bits of plastic in it, both the soft type (like the ones carrier bags are made out of) and hard plastic that can snap. is this...

    200 gallon pots supersoil.

You don't really need to use Subcool's recipe bro, as long as your plants get the nutrients they need. I'd just go and buy some organic soil, vermiculite, perlite, coco and maybe some bat guano and make my own mix. As for nutrients, the bio-bizz range has served me well, and they're organic...
