    Has the Hempy evolved?

You know, that reminds me - one of the best ways to try this out would be with "mini-hempies". I had great success last summer starting clones in Rapid Rooter plugs, then mixing OC+ and perlite in a 20oz Solo cup with a hole about an inch off the bottom, and putting the Rapid Rooter in there to...

Yes, the light mover has been converted to move the bare bulb up and down... and nope, no turning... the plants are all LST'd towards the light and fans blocking buds trimmed - it's kind of like a stadium of buds.

    Has the Hempy evolved?

If you have GH or other nutes that automatically take PH down to 5.8... then you can get away with no PH TESTING until you have a problem anyway. I think a PH meter is essential equipment for any grower for when problem crop up... There are some good, cheap nutes out there that professional...

Well, this was my first vertical grow... first hempy grow... first CMH grow... first time using CRFs for nutes... and I screwed up PH big time... but still getting a yield: I used to do about double this with a 600 on the mover though... but DWC was such a pain in the ass, I'm trying to...

North Korea bombs South Korean island - just less than two hours ago

Sure, we could "bang out" North Korea... but why? I think it's better to have Taiwan buying our weapons... and making much better computers than the chinese.

China owns too many dollars to want them collapsed... North Korea is not our problem.

    Has the Hempy evolved?

No problem. Full disclosure - if you already have GH nutes and no PH meter... than you are best sticking with perlite only. I'm pretty sure this method is best for the budget minded guy who doesn't mind using a bit of PH down in his good tap water. I'm a compulsive experimenter and...

    An Idiot's Guide to Hempy

That's the great thing about GH nutes - if your tap is decent, you pretty much don't have to worry about PH. I guess that's why some might think pH doesn't matter, when 5.8-6.0 is actually important. I've been working on incorporating CRFs... but then you have to PH the water to 6.0.

    Has the Hempy evolved?

Sounds good brother! I've been following the work of DocBud, Setting Sun, and Irishboy, members of another forum right now unfortunately... so I guess it's up to me to spread the word about some new hempy techniques. First, a warning - I've only had moderate success, so I might be a less...

    An Idiot's Guide to Hempy

Oh yeah, I forgot to add - when you take the clones, try and leave one node on each branch on the Mom - you'll get a donkey dick from each one.

I'll start a thread somewhere to share what I know about it... sorry again for hijacking this one.

is this a good soil recipe???

It does have a learning curve, and good analysis of what's going on... + reps... the nute burn was my fault for trying to add additional flower nutes, and got lockouts from trying to use tap with too much sodium... then I screwed up with too much PH down due to not calibrating my meter...

is this a good soil recipe???

Well, I hate to prove you wrong... and I can't link to the grows on 420 mag that would... but OC+ works GREAT in hempy. Just look up Irishboy, DocBud, and Setting Sun. My grow was severely neglected... but it ain't bad:

My best grows per watt have always come from a 600 on a mover... I'm trying to beat it now with a vertical setup, but I don't think I can.

is this a good soil recipe???

That's something I've been thinking about - just started growing with coco, though it's going to be tomatoes this winter since I have a security risk from the owner of 420 magazine... but I digress. What I was thinking was would peat eliminate the need for PH down in a hempy bucket using...

is this a good soil recipe???

I've used something like that, but you have to use hydro nutes or another complete fertilizer if you're not going to add the micros.
