My next vid will be ready end of this week start of next week and will feature a 3 x vero 29se active cooled bar extrusion heatsink and the same drivers (or very similar) first fire will be this tuesday due to bank holidays here, will do my best to give as many hard numbers as possible, some of...

Soil Food Web Gardening with Compost Teas

I now only consider brewed teas for initial inoculation of new soil mixes or remedial treatment of established soils suffering any desertification. The reason for this is that I found that fully biologically active soils show no improvement with added teas over plain water with a little loam...

    Coconut Milk & CBD

Check out the Arthritis thread, is all about coco butter extraction, how to make it, how to use it, ethanol extraction is not a good way to extract medicinals, coco butter is far better way to extract both the oils and essential turpenes and VOC's

    Need help with my multimeter

It could be the fuse in your meter, it only fuses the current circuit so the other functions of the meter will work but current will not. I have an almost identical meter but I always use a clamp meter to measure current, any cheapo one will do, you only need 'fairly accurate' I use something...

DIY Build 16 Vero 29 in 4x4ft Frame + Testing Thread

I use a 120 degree cone to calculate spacings, if you draw a 120 deg triangle and mark it vertically to your drawing scale height yu can calculate how large the diameter of each light pool will be, from there you can calculate the overlaps which need numbering as 4 overlapping pools will have...

    Dosing canabutter

Ok easiest way to think of this is proportions by weight as the majority of the weight of bud or schwag is in the resins we are extracting. My 1x I use a kilo of coco butter to 200g of schwag (the weight is the important bit, schwag is very bulky) or in other terms a 1000 to 200 or 5-1 ratio by...

DIY Build 16 Vero 29 in 4x4ft Frame + Testing Thread

Well first thing to realise is with the exception of LES/CoB's all light sources are radiant in nearly all directions, in practice we can reflect a portion of that light but leds emit in a pretty tight 120 deg cone with only moderate fringe emission, the result of this is that the inverse square...

    Dosing canabutter

It depends on how strong your extract is, most of my canna coco butter most people need a tip of a teaspoon, with my triple washed max dose cancer special about a grain of rice sized piece is a full dose but that has had 6g's decanted into 10g of butter, regular tokers would need a bit more of...

Any good recipes for arthritis cream?

Awesome!! real happy bout them getting hours of relief, often it can be as short as 20 mins between reapplications so that is great news. Yeah, freeze those fresh fan leaves (best only select the green healthy ones as the dying leaves will have mould spores etc) fresh fan leaves will also have a...

Any good recipes for arthritis cream?

It's best stored in the fridge but is unlikely to spoil if out for a day or two if kept in a cool dark place. You can always rewash a batch if first wash is not strong enough too.

Any good recipes for arthritis cream?

Good point ANC, if anybody knows any good long lasting flower remedies, they will add a bit of persistence to this recipe which does tend to need re-applying a little too often, just re-heat the oil till it melts and mix thoroughly, remembering to mark the containers with which infusion at what...

Any good recipes for arthritis cream?

Nice, ok well 22g @ lets say 15% resin content would be somewhere around 4 or 5 times the strength of the used schwag i use @ 1-3% (max) resin content (so more or less equivalent to 100g of schwag), so you should be spot on the 1 x strength single wash i make so i'm guessing the solidified...

    updating a 2011 LED panel

Your math adds up as far as a casual back of the fag packet calculation but I have serious concerns over claimed outputs above 150lm/w even for smd chips, I might be 6 months behind the curve there so don't take my word on it but gen 7 vero's were top lm/w leds more or less only a month or 2 ago...

    is 100w COB enough?

Vero 29 gen 7's best bang fer yer buck 146-8 lumens per watt!!! cheapo shit will just make more heat per watt not more light.

Home brew BHO with minimal butane

Butane cannot be safely purged from a resin, butane contains a ton of impurities including carcinogenic hexanes. If ya wanna schmoke it, smoke the herb or dry sifted resins, if you just need to injest it medically, coco butter extraction all the way! see my comment on arthritis post.

    Freaking Tinctures

Sub-lingual (under your tongue) gives different results to swallowing it, the gut enzymes break the chemistry down so sub-lingual is the preferred route. So any un-reduced tincture that needs a tablespoon full is going to be impossible to keep under the front of your tongue (where all the blood...

Modifying Old Blurples for Greater Efficiency...

That build of mine had drivers with half the drive current I needed and double the voltage so I ended up rigging pairs of drivers in parallel then driving pairs of cobs in series. as they say, there's more than one way to skin a cat!
