Very cool color direction for your agar. The mycelium will consume tie color, its pretty neat. The knots form as strands of mycelium meet and curl around each other, i think.

Light is now vertical and about 12" from the canopy. Getting pretty nice penetration this way. Looks like maybe 24 hours until its at the first string. added next photoperiod crop to veg out some.

yea, if it is recommended on the bag that it is for also garden use then its probably ok. The sand and some BT helps keep flies/gnats to a minimum, which was my original intent.

probably mycelium knots. Those are ready to pick also. Usually you pick when the connecting skin from the cap to the stem breaks open or just before it does. In other words, right before the cap opens up flat.

i use a turkey baster and cover the surface with an inch of sand when potting. Watering with a baster is tedious but i only do 2 plants and keep a clone on hand.
