The ratings are made from max LED output. Lights are dialed back for longer life. If the LEDs are burnt at max output, they don't last near as long.

It isn't calcium that is added, but beneficial bacteria (lactobacillus acidophilis, bifidobacteria, lactobacillus paracasei (as was mentioned in the OP)) that feed the soil microbes. Used at such a dilution that smell isn't an issue. Anything that introduces the bacteria would work, but...

Molasses is good. Milk has it's benefits as well. Google it for specifics.

Those guys just build the lamp, the LEDs appear to be Chinese made 1w x 112. I think you would've been much better off with Cree LEDs. Hope it works for you, but I have my doubts.

That's why you should stop watering several days in advance. If it gets too cool, it might be a problem, but room temp should be safe if the soil is dry. Plus, absolute darkness isn't required, so you can check the buds in low, indirect light.
