Yup, that was the first thing I did when I got my pump. Cranked that bitch up! I think they come factory preset to 80 psi.

AeroJunkie's High Pressure Air-Assisted Hydro-Atomized Aeroponic System (HPAAHAAS)

Pet, you're running compressed air in your lines without using the fancy mixing nozzles? I feel like I've missed something, and if so, I apologize.

Yeah, this is certainly alot more work than I fathomed. Especially when I think back to my first run in the green tubes. Went exceptionally well. Probably a curse now that I think about it. Made me a little too cocky, and this time around I've been experiencing all sorts of probs. I still have...

You run an AA rig? I was un-aware. I don't recall you ever mentioning that in the past, making me think perhaps something is being lost in the terminology. AA = Air assisted, correct?

That's a good idea. I've tossed a few around lately. When you say FRP, is that a formica like product? I'm not familiar with it, that I know of. I may end up going this route. Just wish I'd had a better plan in place before I got started. Oh well.

I'm fairly confident that I am aware of every way to make mist... Starting with the best. 1. Air assisted. 2. High pressure pump/accumulator/solenoid. 3. Centrifugal atomization via spinning disk. Have I left anything out?

I gotta say, using a return valve & accumulator shut-off is a must. You could survive without, but why? Ranger: What size accumulator do you have? My 19 gallon holds 4-5 gallons under pressure. I figure it could run 3-4 days, but hard to tell, as I usually bring it up to 100 every day.

The dig nozzles are max rated for 80 psi. I am confident they will continue to hold up at higher pressures. I gotta think that the people at dig aren't aware their nozzles are being used in this type of application, and assume people wouldn't be running a ton of pressure to mist their flowers.

My bags are 40 gal capacity, believe it or not. My problem is that the lid is 2" thick. The net cup barely comes through the bottom. I flanged around it the best I could, and around the nozzles, but it made little diff. I got one nozzle pointing in, but not enough. I ordered 100' of tubing...

Petflora uses these from reptile basics. http://www.reptilebasics.com/misting-head-assemblies/ They aim & swivel, but I think those are tefen nozzles if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, it seems nozzle placement can be a bit of a bitch. I'm experiencing some issues with my placement as well. I placed a...

I read that trichy uses 3-5 drops per gallon. I, never using bleach or h202, went a little light & have been doing 10 drops for every 5 gallons. I am in the learning stage myself, and thought that would be a good place to start.

Aero root problems and maybe nute burn can't tell???

That's pretty, man. I wish I could be of some help, but I'm in the same boat as you. I've been using aqua flakes with a few additives. Had good luck so far. My first grow, in my old system went very well. I had zero yellowing of leaves at harvest time, which I was told is a sign of an extremely...

Wow! I am amazed at your craftsmanship. Very clean! I'm jealous. You've build my dream system, and probably did a better job than anybody (myself included) could fathom. Tip 'O my hat, sir. Look forward to more!

So, we gonna get to see your rig? I would like to go air assisted one day. Maybe when those nozzles drop in price by $100 or so. Looking forward to seeing more!

I have the 12volt version, and I use a single source for power to the timer & solenoids. If your solenoids are 12 volts, I guess bridging wouldn't work for ya. Sorry.

I can wire a pressure switch, I was simply saying that if I didn't, I'd need someone nice enough to come over & fill my acc manually. With the threat of catastrophe, I doubt I could find anybody. Lol, that's funny though. Thanks for the offer!

    Root Growth and Plant Performance

I feel those are very good points, and probably true with the majority of hydro/aero setups. I have always though that most soilless setups have not left ample room for roots to breath. In my first setup, I used 10" diameter pvc and made em 2' tall. It only took me a month to realize that I had...
