    True HP Aero For 2011

I'm testing at 100, & plan on not going below 80. These nozzles are only rated to 80 psi, but in my 30 years on this planet, I've come to realize that ratings can be kinda silly.the fact that these nozzles have removable tips & that I will have easy access to swap them out, make them a very easy...

TB, are you using the .8 gph nozzles with the purple tips? My experience was quite different. They produced a mist so fine, it floats around in my chambers for almost a minute, and certainly didn't soak my hand immediately. Hmm. I've been on vacation, and haven't had a lot of time to check out...

I believe the nozzles in those systems are cloudtops. Not sure, but they would certainly work.

My accumulator has a 1" port, that I used 2 pvc reducers on, without a drip to speak of. 100 psi isn't really that much. Trichy, glad to see this getting under way. You're to the fun part now. I was so gung ho to get my system built, that I put almost no thought into how I was gonna nurture...

Here's a shot of the hot tub I hope to one day convert into a rig. Minus one of the sections, as I am using it for something else currently.

The foam ranges from like 3/4 to 2". I used the 2" for my lids. Recently, they've applied a mylar backing to one side of the sheeting. Almost as if they read my mind. Dunno if its everywhere. Its only been around here a couple of months. Oh, and there's the pink shit too. It's a little more...

I gotta say, I think I could throw together a wood framed rig in about 1/4 the time, but if you're sure you have a solid plan... I think you may benefit from toying around with something a little more pliable before setting it in stone. Or in your case, fiberglass. But, if ya feel solid enough...

Dems some fine lookin roots! Goddammit, I'm tired of dicking around trying to get healthy clones. Seriously. I must be missing something, cause I see others have great success, meanwhile, I can't seem to get a single one to the point where I'd think its ready to go in my rig. Perhaps mediumless...

Atomix is no longer with us because they went all out with air assist nozzles & silent compressor. That shit ain't cheap, and they passed the price onto the consumer. 6K US, if I remember correctly. You gotta have alot of expendable income to justify that.

The barbed fit tight into the end of the JG tubing. I was putting a small zip tie on them at first, until I tried to pull one off. I had to cut the tubing to remove it. Also saves on fittings, but you probably have plenty of those. I don't know why they're not at your local box store. There is a...

You better get goin, or you're going to have to re-title this thread true hp aero for 2012, lol. I'm still struggling with clones at the moment. Getting closer though. Can't wait to get your opinion on the bio nozzles. Should be soon!

I inquired about his mist times/pressure/flow rate on YouTube. I doubt he'll reply. What gets me is how the hell he got his vids to the front of the pack, when they're not even a month old? $1400 a unit. Gotta pay for that injection molding & ad campaign I guess. If somebody is dumb enough to...

Holy shit. This dude is totally trying to market an HPA rig. USING THE SAME FUCKING NOZZLES I'M USING!!! From what I can tell he doesn't seem to get the entire concept, ie: timing & chamber depth. But still! I've attached a link to the vid I found, and also his page on the particular system...

I don't plan on using pots at all. My homemade 3" neoprene pucks I cut are alot more dense than the ones you can buy. They are 1" thick, and fit very snug into the 2" thick styrofoam lids. The extra inch of styrofoam is what keeps it from slipping through. I demonstrated how well it held for...

The watts fittings aren't any cheaper than JG, but I've had some issues with them not releasing. I'd try & use them in places where you don't intend on fiddling with as much.

I designed my lids so that my puck cannot slip through. I don't want to restrict the roots in any way. My thoughts are that roots growing through small holes in netcups must restrict growth as plants mature. I think the plants are resilient, and easily overcome the obstacle. I know everybody...

The box I mounted my timer in, I don't recommend, as I had to fudge it to make it work. Cavadge used a big 6x6" or so. He made it look good, I just wanted something smaller. Well, I saw some roots poking through one of my cups this morning. Gonna transfer to the bubbler this eve. I really...

    New Growing Method

aquaponics is cool. Not new, and not going to yield 10x traditional methods. I agree that I feel like I got spammed.

Thanks for the info, and confirming for me that my plan will work if executed correctly. I'm also glad you mentioned using such a low ppm. I was planning on starting at 250, which it seems would've caused issues. I've been very eager to finally get my rig up & running. I'm so close now, I can...
