DIY LED Grow Light Vero 18 (Economy light)

a plant's use of calmag doesn't cause leaf curl on new growth the way your photos exhibit. pH problems cause that leaf curl. the first nutrient a plant locks out from a pH problem is calcium, that might be why you're interpreting it as a calcium problem.

went to best buy and they had antec formula 7 nano diamond for the same price as the house brand that used aluminum. the antec is supposed to do a better job dissipating heat than the aluminum house brand at best buy. got a washer to put over the cob and placed a stack of books over that...

that's all well and good guys, but I can't use a tap bit because I have a genetic condition that causes hand tremors! where you have to hold the drill in the same position to tap the hole while you go in and out with the tap bit it causes my tremors to get worse. i am just going to have to...

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

That's crazy they are still bleaching at 20", most 400w bulbs won't even penetrate very deep into the canopy at that height. You are absolutely right on using the same strains and clones for a valid scientific experiment. Validity is in the rigor of the controls of any science experiment...

A51 RW-150 or ONYX bloom? Hmmm.....

they aren't overpriced, the company just has to make money for their time and investment, they don't do it for free. the price you see on digikey is the price for businesses as well, you don't get wholesale pricing for owning a business like most other industrial or growing supplies. the...

LEC Sun System 315W CMH/Philips Elite Agro 930 - Virgin Flowering Run

man, those LECs really seem to be the most economical solution to high efficiency growing today. i would love to see a side by side of LEC vs COB, watt to watt.

    vero 29 questions

No, I am not using an oil. I don't really want to tap the holes if it is unnecessary, I feel like I am just going to repeat the same sequence of events because of my tremors (which can be pretty bad if I hold my muscles in the same position for any period of time). A drill press would negate...

    vero 29 questions

well, i broke my tap bit off in the first hole i tried. it is broken off below the surface, so i can't just use pliers to remove the broken bit. i have a genetic condition that causes my hands to shake, so i think tapping the holes might be out of the question. i was using proper technique...

    Nutrients for soil grows

test your tap, in my area it works really well if you use just a little bit of botanicare or general organics to bring the pH down from mid 7s to mid 6s. brings the ppm up to around 400-500.
