What kind of training for outdoors?

I used to run 24 hr light for my indoor and noticed that they stretch more in flower and stay compact in veg. Seedlings definitely seem more sensitive to dark cycle and I actually made some 7 week strains flower with only 3 hours of darkness by accident. I now veg 20 hours of light and the...

It also depends a little on how you treat them with regards to light schedule and if it's from seed or clone. It's possible that when I cut the light, the early strains will try to flower and then go back to veg and then really start flowering around early july. (I"m guessing)

I still have a light on my early finishing strains, they seem real light sensitive so most of them will probably start as soon as I cut the light. The rest of the later finishing strains probably will start flowering at the end of july, you'll see the stretch in the first weeks of august.

Shaggy's cindys blue cheese and mastodon grow

I add a high trichoderma mix of beneficials to my tea, for us in the PNW it helps prevent root/stem rot. Also some molasses to feed those beneficials.

How long do you soak that alfalfa for? I was thinking about presoaking, then adding to some compost tea after brewing as well as the kelp after brew. Also have you foliar fed with any of your home made liquid ferts? Is that a 1/4 cup to a gallon of water for the soak?

Is my tea supposed to foam up?

Damn, I can guess what region you're in. 96f in the valley, but I'm far enough out, only 86 here. About to trim up the indoor CBC's (the phenos that I put out) so can't wait to sample. All the others have been great, not one is subpar.

Hey there anyone following this, I just got the final shuffling done, all the "extras" in 20 and 30 gallons just got put in to 100 gallons. Dug up the smallest early flowering plant and put into a 20 gallon and replaced with a cindy's blue cheese twice as big and vegging away. Swapped phenos...

What is the greater loss when early harvesting?

I find early harvested bud to be more likely to be a racy kind of high that doesn't last very long

flushing can be a great way to correct a problem, but it sets the plant back and sucks to have to do in flower.

nice! one of these years, I'm going to try some corn. Short season for me but my neighbor does it. I know they don't like to transplant so don't wait too long or stress them or they'll be tiny.

No problem, with the tomato cages, it's easier to get in and thin the plant. Sometimes later on, I might have to cut the cage to allow for the branches to keep expanding, so the cages that I put on may end up being a hassle. Something to think about anyway. I'll still put a bigger cage on in a...

Best outdoor strains for California weather?

Arcata weather is not the same as San Diego weather. You want to finish before either rains come back, frost comes back, or the sun goes away. I'm guessing you are new to outdoor growing, so grow something easy that finishes by mid october. I look for strains that finish in time for my area, but...
