Hello GSquaredFarm,
Your plants do not look like a near harvest crop.
I would guesstimate at least another 2 weeks before you see proper calyx swelling (bud formation and development) and overall tinge.
You should be able to wait for the microscope.
I have a question about the netting. Do the...
One of the most important things people forget about drying is to keep the drying space well ventilated and apply air circulation. You should never dry in a closed off environment where not only the air, but also your crop, can become stagnant.
I would advise against letting the same 'old' air...
I feed until chop yes, assuming you aren't overfeeding you will never get an abundance of nutrients in the calyces. If you haven't had any issues with controlling the medium I would suggest you keep feeding, reaching critical mass is essential to get everything out of your crop, and nutrients...
Plants react to sunlight with regards to growing & flowering, it's why we indoor growers have to make sure we control the amount of light the plants get, we can thus push the plants into flowering by lowering the amount of light (we are essentially mimicking autumn).
It doesn't have anything to...
The optimal temperature range for growing Cannabis in any medium is 24-29 degrees Celcius.
If the temp goes below 15 degrees Celcius or above 31 degrees Celcius your plants will be adversely affected.
I don't live in the US so I am not sure exactly where you can get it.
Another strain I can recommend is Super Silver Haze (Sativa dominant).
Most great hybrid strains trace their lineage back to the same pure strains, there are too many to name here but; Northern Lights, Skunk, Haze just to name...
Good to hear you find them helpful.
My favourite strain is Cinderella 99 which is a Sativa dominant hybrid but it's rather difficult to find depending on where you live.
Short answer: yes.
Stale water which has been sitting for months, especially if there is another substance in it, can and will develop mold and bacteria en masse.
The gravitational pull from a new moon does not pull roots down.
Gravity from a new moon pulls water up in the soil, allowing for easier germination.
When the moon reaches a full Moon phase we experience the greatest pull, resulting in moist soil.
Moonlight benefits strong leaf growth in...
You posted this thread in Harvesting & Curing and then duplicated it here, I simply moved it here, to the proper forum.
Next time you post a thread in a wrong forum for the question posed, contact a mod and he/she will move it for you.
There are a lot of good threads on this subject so I won't go into too much detail, I believe this sub-forum has a nice sticky about this very subject as well.
Near optimal ranges:
Temp range: 16 degrees celcius - 23 degrees celcius
RH: 45% - 65% (the higher, the longer the dry will take)
Days...
It must have been extremely frustrating for you to do what you thought was the right thing and experiencing problems with the plants but at least you realized your mistake, I've seen people who have had these issue who still held their ground on their assumptions, however baseless they might be...
Normally when you dry weed too fast (and sometimes too much) a lot of the odor dissipates but if you carry out the cure properly you should be able to slowly bring the odor back (assuming you have not passed the point of no return).
You want to make sure you have a nice and slow drying phase of...
If you can afford it a vacuum purging machine is a nice addition, you could also purge via a stove top baking paper (heat purging).
I know for a fact that Isopropyl alcohol will kill off the spores and any bacteria, I'm not sure whether BHO has the same properties but from what I've heard BHO...
