If it just one plant you use the dirt in the pot to support the legs. You can buy single pot scrog nets that just stick in the dirt.

If your doing one plant just use bamboo and some string. It's just another form of training. I made mine out of 2x2 and it hangs. This way I undo one side and it zipties up so that it's out of way when not needed. Why build legs - gravity was free.
