Have you made ISO or BHO before? How does it compare in taste/smell to your VHO? I was my understanding that more chlorophyll and others are extracted in food grade alcohol.

What is very good soil? Seedlings don't need soil heavily saturated with food. You can add another bulb but watch for the heat. Keep the soil moist but don't damp. Put your finger in it up to your fist knuckle if its wet wait to water; and don't add any nutes. Oh and Northern blue lights...

Looks like your having fun. I have been wanting to pick up some bags to make dry ice wax but it looks like its some $300 for a 5 bag 5 gallon kit. Ridiculous for some screens. Have you looked into that at all, since you got the bags. It's only some dry ice and a melt down away as I understand it.

I'd have to agree with Twitch. Amber color usually associated with shatter is the first texture to come from purging. More heat or more purge will turn it yellowish gold and drier. I've smashed up shatter and threw it in the vac; its usually good for a few more muffins. Like this.. 1 2 3

No, but you can salt it out. Again reference from skunk pharm. Putting it in the sun only hides the green, its still in there and tastes the same.

Right. Let me rephrase the question. The question relates to the trichs not going cloudy as they are still in the clear stage (45 days ish). However groups of amber trichs are spotted. What would cause this?

Agreed ISO>BHO for quality, however its the duration of time ISO takes that makes it less popular I would assume. Boiling off a gallon of ISO takes days without heat as BHO can process a gallon of tane in an afternoon. There is so much dry ice hash in my area; I've been motivated to try its...
