The secret to good tasting hydro buds is don't burn them nutrients and dry and cure properly. I've had side by sides of the same by grown organically and synthetically. The hydro bud was denser. That was the absolutely only difference I could see taste or smell.

Pretty normal for well water IMO. It will also raise if any water is added from an ac or dehumidifier. I'll set mine to 5.5 and come back and it'll be about 5.8 to 6.0 24 hours later. Also dry ph down absolutely sucks IMO. I recommend you try some liquid bluelab ph down and see if that helps.

I replace a standard single ended bulb every harvest. I replace a double ended bulb every other harvest. The companies can claim whatever they like. My lumen and par meter shows me the degradation in bulbs. So that's what I go by. I don't check anymore, and just replace on that schedule.
