I hate advertising other peoples businesses but ... Attitude seed bank are a cheap and trusted supplier of seeds. Lots of peeps on here use them. I don't since I prefer picking them up from my local seed shop.

Not much point advising him to buy a kit when he already has a bulb and ballast..... Dude, like pikeyz said - you need a reflector. but DONT buy a budget one like pikeyz suggests. A better option is one that will give you the chance to air cool the bulb... Google 'cool tube' with 'hydroponics'...

Buy a 600 watt digital ballast.... This is a great place to start. Even better if its dimmable. 1000 watt is for a more advanced grower since you will have to deal with heat and venting issues.
