Wow, I never knew it was so resilient. If the odd pollen spore was left in room and happened to find its way to pollinate a female flower would this cause the whole plant to become fertilised? I ask because I think I remember seeing peeps pollinate a single branch whilst keeping the rest sensi.

I cant tell you why they died (Im not Qunicy M.D) ... Actually, nobody can tell you why they died. Just give them 24 hr light, until they grow more. Get the correct lighting and keep the soil moist. Other than that, you'll just have to figure it out if youre giving them what they need.

Those lights are tooooooo far away. This has caused the plant to stretch and she looks really leggy... If you had a CFL you could get the light closer.... Also, add more soil so they are not too leggy, another inch of soil minimum.

Also, that soil looks too dry. Make sure its moist at all times, seedlings dont like to get dryed out.

My advice is ... Get rid of the 'reading light'. Its likely to be an incandescent bulb. Not good. Change for a cheap CFL bulb, that should get you started.

T5's are not hot at all. Of course heat is relative but T5's are a lot cooler than HID lamps.... also, purple stems is not a consequence of heat, its more likely purple stems are just a phenotypical trait of the strain youre growing. That said, I have heard people say 'low temps' can bring out...

I hear what your saying on the dough front. I'm having to buy new equipment since I sold my last lot on ebay a couple of years back... Its quite expensive to do it correctly. What your saying regarding higher density of plants over shorter veg time has made me consider if I should do the same...

Not heard of that filter, different part of the world. But they are deffinately needed in this game.... If you want 'belt and braces' protection maybe consider a small ozone generator. btw... 12 plants seems a lot under one 600w hood. I never understand how peeps can achieve this as I can only...
