You're not supposed to spray neem with lights on partner. Someone else can explain better but basically it melts into the stomata and causes them to clog with neem oil. Supposed to spray it when lights are off.

No but it will work just fine so long as you don't mind cutting into your tent wall. Just make sure you make nice clean cuts and get the proper flange for the hole you create. Make sure you design something to baffle light leaks too. My 10x5x7 tent has plenty of vent so I'm glad for that.
