The soil use I use is made by Detroit Nutrient company and its called Great lakes water only soil. And I use general hydroponics Floranova nutes and i dont own a ph pen so i have never checked my ph. Check out that soil i mentioned its some great stuff and my plants allways seem to love it.

I want to say at the seedling stage i started at 24 inches and worked my way down to 18 inches as the plant grew. As far as watering what I do is feel how heavy the plant is when it just got watered and I feel it again when it needs to be watered which is usually like 3 days for my environment...

Hey if you are talking about the small plants. Im under the impression that 4000k is better for veg. Im not positive but I have QBs in 4000k and I use them for veg and flower, and work great. Im saving to get a 3000k for flower. Not trying to tell you what to do just trying to be constructive.
