Even a 250hps is going to put off some serious heat, if you dont have an extraction fan of atleast 100cfm youre going to scorch the plants, those bulbs easily get up to 350* (the same temp you set your oven to cook dinner....) I personally run a 300cfm fan but dial it down slightly with a fan...

Each plant can fill a 2x2 no problem, with a decent veg cycle. Youll be overcrowded in a 3x3 for 5 plants. Sounds like a mainlining would be more for your space
