Hi all Well here's 2 pics of the 2 little shiva sprouted seedlings... do they look healthy enough to you guys? I'm still new to this so any feedback helpful... )•shiva•(

Both have sprouted!!! i guess i'm just a little unsure now has to how long to wait before i put them under light... they are only just above the surface of the soil... about half an inch to an inch but both babies are awake!!! if anyone can help then great... if not i may put them under...

OK... here we go... i lovingly built my tiny little growroom... i get high real quick so dont need a lot so thought i'd start out real small with a room big enough for 1 maybe 2 plants... it's a small area with a 200w, 13,000 lumens self ballasted, low energy, high output, full spectrum light...

ooops... nope its definitely perlite! Can you tell I'm a real newbie? Sorry, I'm a TWAT! It's perlite! Got confused! howlong should it take roughly for them to sprout? and what are the best conditions for the seeds to be in? Mine are in soil, watered, in a warm dark place...

i guess it could be the sprout... how do i tell without uncovering the soil?

cheers grizz... i'm gonna give it a few days see what occurs... its a good soil with perculite mixed in so drainage should be adequate to get water right the way through... i did give it enough water to moisten all the soil so i'm guessing maybe it moved when it was planted... I'm gonna see...

went to see if they needed some water and noticed that, well, it looks as though one of the roots has had trouble going downwards and has curled upwards and out of the soil... good new is that based on how deep it was planted it must have grown nearly an inch and a half over night... i guess...

hi tek, u didnt say whether i need to expose it to light straight away or keep it dark and warm till it sprouts... i think it's dark and warm till it sprouts right? then light? ta and tata shiva

hi guys, well, thanks for the tips... the room is now set up and ready to go... have literally just this second started the seeds germinating so will keep you posted... i'm off out in a mo to get a thermometer, a fan heater and can you also advise, will i or can i (like the video) spray them...

well - im gonna take all your advice... have just picked up the light which as you predicted is throwing out a fair amount of heat though not too much... i will definitely insulate it with a blanket... ive also just ripped apart both bathroom and ensuite and have disabled the extractor fans in...

well, the reasons i dont wanna keep it inside is 1. i dont really have the room. 2. We have a regular visitor who lets our doggy out in the garden and i dont want them snooping. 3. I think my wife would rather I try growing it in the garage first to see how it does... ...although she will...

Thing is, these lights are apparently a low-heat light so that you can get them closer to the plants (they recommend 2 inches away) and move them daily as the plants grow... do you think they'll still generate enough heat to keep my little babies warm? Additionally, I guess I could get a dry...
