im confused did you germinate outside pots and then plant or just plant directly in pots? If you germinate in wet paper towel it takes a couple of days. May take 3-5 or longer if planted in dirt. Dont let them dry out till "crispy", keep soil moist and make sure pot has drainage.

Chances are your seedling would have been okay even without the hormone.. They can stand having roots lost as long as not too many. Youll probably be okay without the dead relative ashes. I thought it was a nice touch though... I slept till 7:30 this a.m., woke up about 3 with an early xmas...

through some nitrogen in there to get things rolling good and turn it frequently... Maybe once a week or so. If it gets warm and if you find worms in it you are doing good. Avoid animal scraps and keep it close so small animals cant get in... It will take a while but the goodies you will get...

yes the towel method works good, just be sure and spread them out....If there is a fan on them even better.
