Exactly my method, The top of the soil dries out quick but it takes a WHILE for all the locked in moisture to be used up

I too am using MG, I've read and been told multiple times just to be careful not to overwater or you'll release too many nutriantes at once and burn your leaves up. So far I have not had a problem using it.

I seperated all the girls last night moving them all out from the center enough so that each plant has the one light over it. Temps are around 83 now which is where I want them. Also just checked at lunch and all 4 seeds are now poking threw the soil. Now just gotta wait a couple days for them...

Do you know the color of the bulbs (6400k, 5000k?) I'm using 4 26watt 5000k's on my girls for veg and plan to switch to 2700k when flowering. Hahaha, I had dark red shag in the basement of the last house we rented, hated that shit so bad!! lol

I personally like to see short, bushy plants rather than tall lanky ones. And I'll second you on the patience thing! I was impatient enough on my last grow and then had to start all over again cause it was a male!! Talk about testing your patience lol. Even started a thread about it once haha...

I chopped him down and just saved a couple of the leaves, wasn't aware that you could make hash from a male, not sure there was enough of HIM to make enough hash for ME lol!! On a side note, I do plan to make hash from my trimmings further down the line

I had one on my last grow that ended up completely upside down after I watered it (now I water before planting the seed) and it still made it's way tot he surface..... only to die a couple days later lol
