Do you have an ir thermometer? If i set my skillet to 150° an use sand for insulation my chamber usually reads 130° when my oil reaches 115°?

Uh 100°c is 212° f.

If you up the temps slightly to 115° you can get shatter.

You can definately use it with sand as a insulator. I used to use a rival that had same setting warm was more like 150-170° using sand and an ir temp gun made it doable

It is definately genetics and grower skill. The romulan wax imade (pic in pic thread) for a friend yielded 17.3% from popcorn buds and smalls. Been begging him to bring over some of the best buds so i can see that yield.

Goalie in reference to your waxibg up problem . Nucleation can occur do to a minute contaminate. Not insuating your work area is dirty. Just stating could be something as small as a fleck of dust or clothes lint
