    Autoflower question, please help!!!!

When I grew autos with HID I did both (starting on MH then switching to HPS for flowering and using ONLY HPS all the way through) - no discernable difference.

    Auto Flowering Seed Bank

Single Seed Center - awesome selection of autos. Super Sativa from Big Buddah is an amazing sativa auto. So is Auto Assassin from Short Stuff. Best of luck and pick and mix till your heart's content.

LED or HPS? Any knowledge appreciated

Small closet with no vents - get LED, however a 90w ufo will NEVER be equivalent to a 400w hps in terms of growing horsepower. Look to replace hid with at least 1/2 to 2/3 the wattage of a HID set up. To elaborate I used to use 2x 400w HPS plus CFL sides. I now use 600w of CREE 3w chipset LED...

    Seed success rate?

You will get the best success rate by using peat pots and a humidity dome. I used to use the paper towel method and can tell you this works better. Also your germ rate is going to depend on selecting a reputable breeder and seedbank. Attitude and Single Seed Center are great. So is...

    Top 10 auto flower strains

It's pretty solid for the money, def a sturdy tent but does have light leaks which have since been plugged - an easy enough fix. For 85 bucks for a 40X40X78 I'm happy.

    Top 10 auto flower strains

Yeah it's fucking huge right now, been vegging since 12/10/11. Just put her on 12/12 in a 40 inch X 40 inch X 78 inch tent. Not really complaining as much cause if she does flower properly it's gonna be a massive harvest off one plant just been a royal pain to move everything around and buy a...

is the joint doctor legit and if not who is the best auto vendor

you'll get plenty of opinions on that. Short Stuff, Sagamantha, Big Buddah, Delicious, and Sweet seeds have never done me wrong with the exception of the Super Cali Haze from Short Stuff which is crap.

    Top 10 auto flower strains

I'll still get some nuggets just forced my hand to buy a tent earlier than I'd expected. Since I got two free fem photoperiod plants with my last order I was going to have to do it anyway. It is super freaking healthy and now that it's vegged out big time I'm sure I'll get a decent yield. If...

    Top 10 auto flower strains

In order to save someone a hassle - Pakistani Ryder from World of Seeds has not autoflowered as advertised. I've been growing this bitch for well over 50 days. Just bought a tent and another timer so I can switch her to 12/12 and keep my other autos on 20 plus hours a day. What a pain in the ass.

Feminized seeds - do they always produce female plants?

Breeders I've always been really happy with .... Sagamantha Big Buddah Dutch Passion Barney's Sweet Seeds I'm a little hazy on the details but over the years I know everything I've ordered from them has grown fem as advertised and had excellent germination rates.

If you have to use smaller pots look into "Air Pots" or "Smart Pots" they are far more efficient than plastic or ceramic pots.

Feminized seeds - do they always produce female plants?

I have only had two seeds out of very many that were advertised as being feminized turn out to be dudes. They were actually both from a less than reputable breeder (Flash) and were extra cheap to begin with. If you're paying for good genetics from a quality breeder my experience has always...

    LED Grow lights - success??

That is going to depend on which brand your diodes are and if you bought a light that is from a US company. CREE didoes are well tested and will go the distance advertised by the manufacterer. If it is a no name good luck. Orsam, Bridgelux, Xenlex, and Epistar are also excellent diodes...

Auto AK47 First grow and flowering

1000bulbs.com has great deals on 105w cfls - if you're intent on keeping a cfl grow. You'll probably only get on avg 1/3 oz off each plant given the lack of branching which is a direct result of the lighting situation. Still with the limited light you have going - good work.

    LED Grow lights - success??

I'm fairly objective about it. I use to use 2x400w HPS plus CFL sides (probabaly 300w total). I effectively replaced them with 600w of LED output broken up into four different panels (1 per plant). No drop in yield, big drop in power consumption and zero heat management issues. If you're a...

New room - light questions (LED) - Please help

I'm partial to the pro-grow series from hydro hut. That's all I use these days but have also had LEDs from Grow Led Hydro that were very good. I've used blackstar, those are o.k. for the price but they don't output the wattage they advertise eg - 240w light is really a 130w light. I've also...

Seeds... Are they worth the Effort

If one turns out to be male and the other female separate them. Collect pollen from the male and store it in a dry air tight place. Kill the male. Wait until your female plant is ready to chop down, maybe harvest a little early, when 80 percent of the plant is harvested dump the pollen on the...

    Cream Caramel Auto Grow

I've used 3 gallon pots and have broken the 2 oz mark before but found they were a bit rootbound at the end which led me to upgrade to 5 gallon pots and I now get on average 1/4 oz more than I was averaging with 3 gal.
