Do you have an opinion on using molasses with the grow. I'd heard that it should only be done during flowering.

Like I said the difference between the contents is like pronouncing tomato. Both look good. Thanks for the well wishes. I'll post pictures when she gets some time under her belt. Right now she looks to be doing great.

1000 watt HPS bagseed closet grow!!!!!

The thousand watt HPS is most likely the reason for the stretch. Color spectrum and light distance. I have mine under a 125 watt dual spectrum CFL at twelve inches and her first leaves are huge and green. 1765736This is my girl at three days old. Not nearly the stretch.

I'm using the RO soil now. Everything is going well. FF sounded good to me and to tell the truth I can't remember what made me chose RO. All the nutes use bat guano and kelp, I just thought it might do very well.

My 2nd Grow need help :D

Jorge made all the difference in my grow. I researched the net on topics but they lacked specifics. If anyone is serious about cultivating then spend the time and money to buy the books and dvd's and do the research.

    First grow failed

First off there is a seeding soil. Burpees makes a seeding soil. I did'nt care for it because it dried far too quickly for my taste and I chose to change rather than amend the soil. I'm using Roots Organics soil now and it has the bat guano, kelp meal, worm castings, etc. Everything is looking...

I'd clone it for sure, just in case.

    I don't remember

Page 84 step 3 in Jorge's bible states that many growers believe that twenty four hours of total darkness before harvest increases resin content.

I'm using Roots Organics potting soil. I'd read several great reviews on it. This is my first go round with it, but I have to say that it's doing very well.

Want to see me grow nice plants with zero cost? Well, then, COME ON IN!

I agree somewhat with OOM. In Jorge's bible he mentions that brick weed from south of the border had potential. Alot was lost in the care and curing that cost it it's potential. All it's growers motivation was a fast buck. They could care less about the end result.

I agree about Attitude. Fast service and very discrete. Use the stealth order and guaranteed delivery and you won't have a problem.

    Advice on soil PH

The RO soil that I'm using has good drainage. Green sand, perlite, crushed oyster shells and such, as well as worm castings and guano. I've heard great things about it, but this is my first experience with it. I bought their Buddha Grow and Bloom. Both contain bat guano, worm castings, kelp...

    Advice on soil PH

I appreciate the info. I think that the buffers they use in RO are meant to balance things over a longer period of time and that may be why my PH is more acidic. I'll look into the cal/mag.

    Advice on soil PH

I kinda miss the days when I'd drop a couple of seeds in some dirt and almost totally neglect them with pretty good results. Now I'm like a first time father. I just need to relax.

    Advice on soil PH

Nope. The only thing that light up is the word marijuana and it takes you to the homepage. No big deal, that sounds about right. The leaves started out pointing straight up and that never changed.
