The scrog was definitely a last minute DIY project. Had the plant lst'ed up until a week or so ago. I used maxi pots (http://www.discountgrowlights.com/grodanmaxicontainer.aspx) and a screen grid thing that came with a trim to fit filter...

For a second I thought you were gonna take a ufo light then surround it with 16 cfl's.... now THAT would be awesome. Regardless this should be interesting to see built but IMO i would stick with a cheaper route of less, higher wattage bulbs.

Most of the tops are poking through the scrog now and i had to raise my lights another 1/2" so I think it's time for flowering. Gonna give them one more 19 hour light day then gonna stick them in darkness for 24 hours and let the 12/12 begin! I'll post pics later when i water/before i put them...

ya, that might work. a 2x4 was just an example. it could be smaller and lighter, just something stiff for the sockets to stick on to. Bolting them straight to the ducting would probably work.

I say you drop them through so just the bulbs are beneath the reflector (i think like what you were drawing out) and then screw them into a 2x4 above that. just my .02

more with some blue. nothing wrong with a mixed spectrum just make sure you have a majority of reds. somewhere around a 3:1 ratio. I'm also gonna flower in the next few days so this will be fun to compare :D

get a y splitter on that top light! it's not gonna do much that much further up than the rest of the lights. I'd suggest getting a 40+ watter in there if you're gonna leave it as is. the printer paper setup is surprisingly legitimate though. +rep (if i could =/)
