when you first put the clones in you want the water level to be about 1/4 in away from the baskets, and the water to be spraying against the tube at the surface of the water so it splashes, and coagulates. when roots start to show drop the water level and re-adjust the laser lines.
so i finally got a chiller that works...water temps are around 68˚..things are going great! i just need to set up some nets, and flowering will begin on friday.. so far im happy with how everything is going...
is that a mirror in there? mirrors absorb light, they dont reflect it. and foil is not the greatest either. if you have some extra cash buy some white poster board and cover that mirror. didnt you say you were getting a 400W HPS? or am i trippin..also you should get those clamp lights from...
you should be ok with that..try not to let it get higher than that tho..
when i first grew my temps were mad high, and my buds never got dense..it was a fuckin headache
because it is too hot...it slows the growth down. but if you run co2(which ive never really cared for) your temps will go up, and that is fine...to keep an optimal grow environment you want your room temps to stay between 70˚-78˚.
much better..now you just need to make sure you have an air cooled hood, or if you dont have one you need a lot of air circulation..keep those temps around 75˚. when it gets to 80˚ or higher thats when you will have problems.
no streching going on there bud..i pull 6 inch clones..any close and there wont be optimum spread..ive gorwn with these babies before..this is just the first time ive documented it.
4-6in away from the plants and id have to throw another LED in there..not enough spread.
.....
stay tuned...
but...
ive never done a full grow with CFLs..i use a 125W cfl for my babies right before they veg under the 600HPS(thats where the mothers live), but nonetheless, thanks for stopping by!
