i've seen significant color change when the nights drop below 50 degrees farenheit.

often times plants that are exposed to cooler temps will change colors to different hues of purple to blue or red or even black. color variation can occur in both the leaves and the flowers.

Only water when she's thirsty. Wait until the soil is dry, and the pot gets light. If you're running organic nutes you can even wait til the plant starts to wilt between waterings.
