Are GPS coordinates attached to cell phone pictures?

I agree that GIMP is a great program, no doubt about it. I have it (and use it) on my Linux machines. Never tried to load it into windows, never had to. That being said, why would one be so rash as to let other people in their grow rooms period, let alone with a cell phone? If dude was...

Are GPS coordinates attached to cell phone pictures?

Thats a GREAT program, IF you are running Linux instead of Windows. It can be done, but I aint sure how reliably. It's a UNIX program for UNIX based OS's. Windows users can just use Photo Shop or Adobe Lightroom. You can alter the metadata with both programs. My point is that it MUST be done...

Are GPS coordinates attached to cell phone pictures?

They can do this.....but ONLY at the very moment you upload the pic. Other than that, nada. Oh, and BTW Redivider. You have to manually go in and strip/delete the EXIF meta-data from an image file. Just using photoshop or any other image manipulation program, or cutting and pasting does NOT...

    Check This OUt: Normal?

That's normal. It will happen throughout the life of the plant, lower leaves yellow and dropping. Moreso the less light that hits the lower leaves.

Which strains really grow low odor?

Watch the temps. Anything is gonna stink at higher temps. I kept the temps in the room at about 70, with the plant top temps no higher than 85. Almost no odor with a JHxViking. Let the temps creep up, and you'll know it!!

    Don't forget about the smell!

I love it!!! Dude didn't have ballasts, he had voltage AMPLIFIERS!!!! Where are all of the "toxic chemicals" we all know he used to "manufacture" the marijuana? And the ever present "hole on the floor/wall" where he was "stealing" power? Lets recap: You got 46 plants in the basement. No...

alright tiz the season for xmas lights

Thats a double edged sword there, guy. (Some might even take offense at the "rubbing of the noses" in it) I wish to hell I was that fortunate, but sadly.... I aint. And I aint about to pull up stakes to follow the new westward migration, either. I can dig what you're saying tho, about the...

Suposed loop hole in vehicle searching laws

What you are asking about is called a "Terry Stop" (google it) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_v._Ohio There is no "Set in Stone" time limit, but the courts general consensus holds that they cannot detain a person any longer than necessary to determine the ID of that person, and if a...

is there such thing as too much light??

The plants genetics is the final determining factor in yeild.' True, the more light = the more bud in theory. All we can do is maximize the potential of the genetics with light, environment, and nutes. (Oh and TLC!!! :bigjoint:) Across the forums, the "Holy Grail" and benchmark of yeild seems...

Intermediate Grower with New 400W HPS, New House and a Few Problems: please help.

You gotta get your temps down, either thru direct cooling with an AC or venting the hood heat out. Definitely get some sort of carbon filtration for the air. When it comes to nutes, use no more than half of recommended dosage. If you have young plants in store bought potting soil, you wont need...

    600 or 1000?

Listen to these guys. They know that of which they speak!!! The 600w lights are FAR more flexible and efficient than 1k lights. Unless you have a warehouse sized growroom, and air-cooled hoods, 1k lights are heat producing BEASTS. I went from six 400w lights to 8 1k lights (Got some great deals...

Growing way too tall and still haven't slowed down --

Dude is telling you right. Supercrop them. Pinch the stem to weaken (not break) the stem and bend it over. Geotropism kicks in and points them back upward. The bend will heal forming a "knuckle". Best way to deal with lanky plants. But then, ya gotta have some room around them for bushing out a...

whats so bad about bagseeds ?

While I personally dont believe that they will have a greater propensity for hermaphrodism, thats one of the best explanations I've come across. So.....You read the gay thing and immediately you think it's a reference to YOU? Are you THAT insecure about your sexuality you gotta attack others...

whats so bad about bagseeds ?

This is VERY true. The fewer plants that have INDIVIDUAL needs, the better off you are at first. There are growers out there with as many as 10 or 15 strains growing out at once, but that comes with experience we dont have. My suggestion would be to grow some seed (Let them grow thru flower)...

    my first harvest.. compliments?

Not Bad!! Not Bad at all!! There aint a feeling that comes close to smoking yer own weed (except the feeling you get when your friends smoke your weed and all they can say is "DAMMIT MAN!!") You wanna dry them until the stem just snaps, but doesn't break. Those nugs should be fine on your time...

How to end operation with partner?

Partnerships in business for the most part will kill a friendship, And it seems that he's not a friend if you are worried about getting screwed. I trust my friends explicitly. Real friends don't screw other friends. Walk away from the equipment and the dude. Chalk it up as a lesson learned...

    Terracycle Worm Poop Potting Mix??

For starters, seedlings need no nutes at all for the first 2 or 3 weeks. They'll feed off energy stored up in the cotyledons. After that, you'll want something that's higher in N for the veg cycle. Not too high tho. Then when you want to flip to flower, you'll want to reduce the N (not...

    rabbit poop for fertilizer

I may have been over the top there, and much apologies to the rest of the forum, but I stand by it in principle. Posting an opinion is one thing, posting rubbish as fact is quite another. As a newbie grower, I found SO MUCH conflicting info to sort out. Some or most of it valid, but that in...
