My buddy and I had 5 plants in 1.6 gallon pots in a 3'x3'x6' Secret Jardin tent and it was way too crowded. With the dimensions you listed, I would go with 3 plants maximum. You might want to look into SCROG, but LST will work just fine.

It all depends on your grow setup. If you could provide more info, people would be able to better assess your situation.

My buddy and I run this same exact tent with a 400w MH/HPS 4" air coolable reflector. We use a 6" 435cfm Valueline fan for heat extraction. Temperatures run just a tad over 80, but that's because it's in a little basement closet with the door shut. Definitely go with the 6" fan all day everyday.

@ Crystal, I believe Scotty said that the pH can be higher and out of the suggested hydroponic range during veg. I wouldn't worry too much if it's growing and looks healthy. When you get closer to flower, the pH buffers will kick in. I'm guessing you are using tap water?

@ Crystal Toy, the waterfarm reservoir holds 2 gallons. For every 2 gallons of plain water added back into the reservoir, the next day we will drain everything completely and replace with 2 gallons of fresh nutrient solution right away. And right now our plant is drinking about a half a gallon...

I would SCROG or LST because a 150w HPS can't penetrate all that much. Will give you a better yield at the end of the day.

You can use CFL's to grow, but if you can deal with the heat, go with a 250w MH/HPS and run this setup. Depends on your budget I guess. Currently got a power kush entering week 5 of flowering under a 400w MH/HPS in a 3'x3'x6' tent. Ppm is at 1200 right now with tap water at 210ppm.

Looking real nice. Did you top, fim, or super crop at all? Or did you just bend the tops of the plants under the screen?

Yeah, definitely helps to drill 1/4" holes in the top bucket to allow the roots to grow down more efficiently. Just keep in mind that the top bucket needs to support the hydroton, so don't drill too many holes. Other than that, go with a bigger airpump. I have the 18w ecoplus that was $48.95...

@ Growalater, we are going to trim out all the leaves under the screen by the beginning of week 4 in flower. And waterfarms are bad ass. If you are worried about salt buildup around the ring, just put a piece of alumnium foil over the top of the waterfarm and you will have less evaporation.

Just make sure you have good ventilation. That in my opinion is the most important area to cover when tent growing. It's very easy for the tents to get hot.

You probably want to flower your plants at 1-1.5ft tall and top them. Don't let them get any taller because then they will stretch like a mofo and double or more in size. I guided my buddy through a grow and threw them (5 plants) into flower at about 2ft tall using a 400w HPS in a 3 x 3 x 6...

You want the 1" chicken wire. Those holes will be just fine. I know they seem really small, but you can weave pretty easily.
