Cost of az Eectricity, might surprise u

Your fine I would leave it that way... I pull air from the bedroom next door ( I cut a hole in the closet so you cant see it ) and that air goes through my hoods and into the attic. I wouldnt add the unit to the room you already have AC in there and temps are fine adding a portable AC will just...

I think you are right because over the years with my 1000W in the sealed room my bill only went up like 50 bucks this year I added another 1000W and during my summer months last year my bill was 280 on average now its close to 400 because of the new 1000W

    white powder mildew

Is someone doing lines off your fan leaves..?? Wow thats a major Powdery Mildew problem..YOu need fans in that room and maybe a spray to kill the powdery mildew or a sulfur burner will kill all that powdery mildew. I used some Zero Tolerance fungicide by Ed ROsenthal that worked well.

Hydrofarm Active Air co2 regulator no good for co2 controller

I'm thinking he was expelling co2 too fast and it froze up, happens and comercial growers are the only ones who like to blast co2 out for their huge gardens and even then they have to buy a regulator heater its basically a little heater that heats the co2 as it passes through and keeps your...

A portable AC will suck a lot of electricity too. I have my room sealed pretty good because im in the high 300's and my AC is always at 75 these days 78 during May but from here on out I have to keep it at 75..4 bedroom 2500 sq foot house.

    heat issues

yeah that homemade co2 is probably not gonna help combat the high temps.. The more you increase your PPM of co2 the hotter the temps can be I hit the mid 80's and I pump 1500 PPM's..

Whats the highest temps can go!!!!

yes thats better than 95F lots of my grow buddy's are turning down their ballasts from 1000W to 600W to fight the heat here in AZ.

    week 8, leaves dieing

normal, your plants are dying and you are cutting down on the nitrogen so the plant uses stored nitrogen in the leaves to survive.

    heat issues

It would look the same without using co2 in your set up.. Stop wasting your money on co2 if you are leaving your door open you are just wasting that co2.. If you are in soil 85 degrees might be as long as your root ball doesnt get too hot. Keep a hygrometer at canopy level and pot level. But...

    First time DWC hydroponics

Yeah man if you let the water get warm you will introduce slime/ root rot and shit like that.. I used to grow DWC here in Phoenix, its about 113 degrees today.. The trick is keeping the water cool by any means necessary. I started using ice chests and 5 gallon sport coolers to keep my water...

    First time DWC hydroponics

First off, water temps are crucial in DWC so make sure you maintain water temps 70 degrees and under. Second use whatever hydro nutes you want to use it's your money and it's your grow they all work well some are easier to use then others but they all do the same shit.

Plants only use co2 during " lights on" they wont use it all during lights off.. I also wouldnt even use it in veg, you can but I have been growing with co2 for a while and it just didnt do enough for me in veg to keep using it. And I wouldn't recommend co2 unless you have a sealed environment...

Home made co2 wont help for your heat problems.. If you had co2 in the room ( via co2 tank or generator ) you would be okay up into the 90's but 95 is pretty hot for indoors, you dont want the roots to get that hot. I would suggest getting a portable AC fast, also vent the heat from your lights.

    co2 regulator and timer

I also recommend buying a co2 controller unless you know how to calculate how much co2 you are expelling, the controllers are pretty much light sensitive so they do all the work for you once the light comes on the controller will expel co2 to the desired setting ( I use 1500 PPM ) and it will...
