Under white-light LED, yeah, that's the norm. There are a few growers here who have success with temps in the mid-70's, but they are certainly the exception. Unless you're interested in going DIY, this would be my recommendation...

Well you'll want the tent temp to run around 80-85 with LEDs, so if you spring for the new light, turn your exhaust down. Due to the lack of IR in LEDs, the leaf temps tend to be lower, and that affects transpiration. What's your budget?

Depends. What wattage is your HPS? No one can tell you how much of a reduction in heat you'd see by switching to QBs; there are far too many factors involved. But considering that you wouldn't need more than 60% of the wattage you're currently using, you should be able to cool things down a bit.

If you can afford it, I see no reason not to go for the 320w kit. You can always run it dimmed, but if you ever need the extra juice, it'll be there.

As usual, veg got away from me, and I've overgrown my tent. To make matters worse, these are all in 3 gallon pots of ROLS, which is far too little volume of soil to support plants of this size all the way through flower. We'll see what happens. Two phenos of HSO's Blue Dream and one of HSO's...

Depends on the wattage, the size of the fixture(s), the size of the grow space, etc.

I realize you're not up-to-date with LED grow lights, so I won't give you too much shit over it, but it is only right to tell you that this light will not perform nearly as well as the best (or even second or third best) on the market. Whether you care about the cost or not, I presume you care...

The majority use 3000k for flower. A lot of us also use 3000k for veg, and find them to work very well indeed.

3500k isn't just for veg; it's great for seed-to-harvest too.

What are your temps and RH? I'm not an authority by any stretch of the imagination, but I have become quite convinced that environment is the most important variable when diagnosing problems like this.

A Sharpie could fix that.
