So I wonder if any of you have ever used the "1 tub with water and a heater + the FC tub"... I chose this design because it is very cold here... right now the bedroom I intend to have the tent in , is barely above freezing... so the FC sitting in warm water seemed like a good plan...

gotcha... What I am thinking is a 5x5 tent with shelves full of tubs... I would imagine filtered positive pressure in the tent would help keep contaminants out... Easy to wipe down... I can humidify and heat the tent to help the tubs... just one more way of helping the conditions along...

I believe the fans last longer if you run cool air through them... the fan is more efficient and the motor runs cooler... but I guess that would just be my personal preference... and 99% of the time passive intake is perfect, but SOMETIMES it is required... and still taking care to maintain...

or you could do it the right way and have a dedicated exhaust system, not connected to the aircooled light ... That way, your exhaust works according to the temperature and air exchange needs... and the aircooling fan can work with the lights... independent systems will give you a far more...

I was happy with 4x 600s over 4x 3x3 trays... but I certainly would not want less light than 600w per 3x3
