Dolomite lime and PH Runoff questions

total one last question if I could...do you think I should add more lime (possibly in the next watering) to get the PH to where it needs to be or do you recommend a "top coat" of sorts along the top of the soil? Thanks for being such a good fellow about this....First grow = growing pains

Dolomite lime and PH Runoff questions

Total If I'm reading what your saying right then I should just keep using the lime...and NOT buffer the water (either with PH up or PH down) before I add it to the plants..I"m assuming that you have the same feelings re: when adding nutrients to the soil as well...thanks for this.

Well I know on the roots organics feeding schedule they actually "schedule" a flowering transplant. However I'm with you (and as it turns out so is my hydro store) that's why I changed over to a 12'' diameter pot today..lots of room to grow and no re-potting for a final phase (hopefully)

Torn thanks for that link...lots of stuff I wasn't necessarily aware of. So if I want my soil at 6.8 I should start with say a 8.2 water. Is that a correct assumption?

I have to say I'm quite pleased with the roots organics so far. As far as I can tell the girls are looking great and good and tall already (21 inches with a six inch pot) The problem has been the PH if I could stablize that easier and for little money I just want to re read those ingredients...
