thanks for all the replies guy, my tent is a GL80 with three 5" intakes. dimensions are 2.7x2.7x5.11. i only planned on using one intake although i can use 2 if need be. also the lights will be powered on at 4pm and will poweroff at 10am the next day for veg.

one other question, i bought a can-filter 9000 to help once these things go into flower. what i was thinking was a setup of: canfilter>duct>aircooled reflector+glass>duct>exhaust fan. will this work ok do you think? do you think there would be enough negative pressure from the filter to bring...

i have a single inline fan that i use that is connected to my air-cooled fan. the way i plan on having it work is the negative pressure from the fan will pull in fresh air from the passive intake. would that work? also does the fan need to stay on 24 hrs or should it be on a timer? i will also...

last question, should this thing(ballast) be making noise/getting hot without anything being plugged into it? because if it does im thinking its a bad ballast.

i dont hear any noise, nor does the ballast get hot at all. this is with and without the reflector plugged in. heres a stupid question, how do i tell if my electricity is 120 or 240? i picked up a 120 and live in the states.

well i plugged it into my timer, and its now plugged into the wall and nothing. damn this is frustrating. i find it hard to believe the ballast is bad. am i missing some kind of power cable/converter or something? i dont get it

i bought a new 250w lumatek digital ballast, a slightly used super sun 1 with cord, and a 270 super agro bulb. im new to growing, so bear with me. arent i supposed to just plug everything in and it should turn on? i noticed the "input" button on the ballast is pushed in. what does this mean? thanks
