    slow growth with t5 lights

I also love the T5 strip lights. They are the most versatile lamp in my garden. You'll always find a use for them once you have them, even if you don't use them as a primary lighting source. As far as the reflectors go, though, look at it like this: The reflectors shape is it's strength. They...

DirtHawkers first indoor aero/nft "stinkbud design" medical grow

I don't know your current lighting situation, but for me, just the switch from a blue source(MH) to a red source(HPS) tends to stretch the plants without effecting the photoperiod. That way, they'll stay on the same harvest requirements and nute load requirements as the rest. Might be worth a shot.

    slow growth with t5 lights

No, we just confused them more. plantlightinghydroponics.com has very good prices. The lamp you buy will be determined by both size requirements and your expectations. Can you describe what you envision?

    Lighting....

There's a grower on hear named Roseman. He does some exceptional grows with pretty big plants using only cfl's. You should look him up.

Sealed room, window ac unit, co2 ???

They make "dual hose" portable A/Cs for this reason. They have an intake and an outtake to isolate the heat exchanger, much like how we air cool hoods in a co2 room. Sometimes they will need to be modified to really cut down the exchange.

    co2 and carbonfilter ?

The better your system is sealed, and the more you clean the air, the less it will stink around the room. Smells do tend to permeate through walls and cielings, so you'll still need to be careful.

Scrog - 5 Plants all bigger than 1. Should I top the 5 down to the small one?

Oh, I got ya. I think that the scrog tek really was developed for a single strain application. Your plants are doing well(+rep).

Scrog - 5 Plants all bigger than 1. Should I top the 5 down to the small one?

I thought the whole point of a scrog was to weave the plants under the screen as they grow above it?

Cleaning hydroton - any other ways!!?

I've been trying a long (weeks) soak of hygrozyme and then high pressure, hot water spray. It really seems to break the shit up and then it just washes down the drain when I spray it.

THE PANDA AERO SYSTEM fom general hydroponics

That would be quite a SOG garden. The spacing is very tight. I'd consider running one plant in each chamber. You realize that the footprint of this system is pretty small - like 2' x 3'? Not sure what you're looking for, but it may work well for a SCROG system. I personally hate running...

    slow growth with t5 lights

Sorry, UF, but I gotta disagree with you there. I read an extremely lengthy and scientific article one time that described how a certain (I think like 80%) of light either passes through or is reflected by the leaf. It explained that you can't really see it because of the spectrum... The rate...

Floranova users happy with it????Many questions

There are 3 concerns with floranova: 1) This shit is thick as mud and requires plenty of physical labor to mix. The benefit is that a little goes a long way making it very cost effective. 2) It is organic and is "dirty". You will see more shit accumulating in plumbing and pumps than with the 3...

activated carbon to filter hydro water?

I've read about people using "bio filters", but a carbon filter will remove nutrients.

    co2 and carbonfilter ?

Just FYI, you are "Scrubbing" - Recirculating through the filter to clean the air. The filter would have to clean at a molecular level to filter out co2.

    CO2 consumption and evaporation

You do not need to worry about CO2. Humidity is the issue. Even if the plants aren't transpirating, there will still be moisture in the room. The ambient R.H. is going to have a major effect on this, but if it gets damp and you don't have circulation, you'll get mold.
