    slow growth with t5 lights

That's nice Really, T5's are the most efficient Floro on the market. I don't think that's your problem.

DirtHawkers first indoor aero/nft "stinkbud design" medical grow

I've noticed that centrifugal inline fans online are rated at 170' f. I've also been told that the thermodynamics of pulling the air vs. pushing is in favor of pulling (though I can't verify this). I believe that most decent inline centrifugal fans designed for growing have sealed bearings, do...

You've tried the search and found nothing? Try this...

I noticed yesterday when I tried to log on, it said the site was down because they were upgrading the search. I wonder if it's any better now. Growkindnugs, the title search feature is much better than the regular search +rep. The nice part about google, though, it will search not just titles...

Procyon LED. Newbie Help, aero garden

GrowGreenGreen, I would tread lightly if I were you. There are many accounts on here with lower post counts like yours spamming LED lights. I'm not saying that you are, but you will likely be seen as such if you push too hard. If you are seen as a spammer, you will be met with hostility, may...

Over 2lbs from 400w in normal time frame, need a test pilot.

You'd want to use a fast flowering strain and no veg time. You could even clone in 12/12. The idea being that you need very little yield ea, to produce a very large total yield. I'might try it, if it were legalized, but a vertical could probably work as well , if not better for the same square...

    T5 Flourescent Lights

T5's are simply more efficient. They produce more usable light while drawing less power. T8s are better than T12s, though.

Nice! I think I'm going to run the super skunk in my commercial op. It's the G13 labs, right? Freebie from attitude? Oh, check out the link in my sig for search help.

Very Slow growth and weird leaves!!

I'd suggest handwatering rockwool until you have roots showing. They should be watered based on weight. Check out Al b fucts rockwool cloning thread. Still applies for seedlings.

    4x3 Space - 430 Plants - Is This Possible?

You need a bigger medium. I've seen grows using the 4" rockwool cubes. 4 plants per square foot is common for SOG.

    Trimming Question.

I think that's supposed to be 'don't top or prune your plants' while in flowering. That's removing growth tips or fan leaves, not bottom branches. I'm currently trying one trim at 12/12 and then a second at 2-3 weeks in. This is what I've found to be the generally accepted method.

    lights

Take Roseman's advice. For your budget, CFLs will get good results. You can also consider T5 strip lights at $35 ea.

Very Slow growth and weird leaves!!

Did you have roots sticking through when you put them in the hydro system?

Very Slow growth and weird leaves!!

It's still hard to tell from the pics, but I think this is what you're seeing. They kinda look dried out though. They may be getting either not enough water or not enough o2. How are you watering them?
