Just got my new Magnolia. It's a very impressive light and I'm looking forward to some great results with it. I'm going to use it on my next grow instead of my Fatty and see how it goes. As usual from Timber, the build quality is outstanding. The heat management system is pretty simple but...

Something in my rez slowing growth. How to get it out

Well, that sucks.... hopefully, you were able to salvage some. I've been fortune to not have that occur. Don't know if you're familiar with Flora Flex nutrients. If not, check out their Full Tilt finishing nutrient. Def makes a difference the last couple of weeks. I like it better than Cultured...

Something in my rez slowing growth. How to get it out

Hey don't know if you solved your problem yet. However, I've been using Cultured Solutions for awhile now. I've found that if you draw down the reservoir to about half way and refill, the pH will typically become stable again. You can add some extra UC Roots on the refill. However, don't exceed...

    It's a really tempting deal... I believe that a couple of C3"s, one 3k the other 4k would make a really nice 4x4 or 5x5 tent set-up

I had purchased a HLG RSpec Scorpion and a Timber Fatty. I returned the HLG. It was a well-built light. However, I just found that it wasn't to my liking. I subsequently purchased a Redwood and a 4VS. I love all of my COB based lights. That being said, I plan on ordering two of Timber's new...

    Light wasn’t on?

So, It's been almost a year since you've had these lights, are you happy with them? A local store has them for $700 US for the the HM660. I've been curious about them. Thanks

They do use mostly 3500k diodes. The reds bring the average color temperature down. Samsung specifically designed the boards for horticulture. Apparently, their testing indicated this was the way to go. I guess once they are in circulation for awhile we'll get an indication of their effectiveness.

Finally, the Timber Magnolia 4 has arrived! Leave it to Dan and crew to put together a serious American light. The boards are made directly by Samsung and are of the highest quality. No guessing on where they were sourced. It's got 700 diodes a board and has equal or better performance than...

Thanks Dan! I'm sure many people here will appreciate clarification of the various design points. Also, just to be clear, it sounds like what you're using is a single driver housing partitioned into 4 separate channels with each channel having it's own fuse. Is that accurate? Finally, do you...

That's certainly a key question. There'll probably be a couple of drivers as well. My guess is that there should be good diode density as Timber tends not to overdrive their lights. The heatsink design looks interesting too. I do like that they're stating the actual light spectrum. Too many...
