    390-430nm Violet LED’s

Thanks! An excellent article and it reinforces my decision to use 5 -1750K cobs in my light configuration. I was trying to duplicate an HPS color profile. I've grown under LED, HPS and CmH. Up until I got the Timber Fatty, my best results were under HPS. I always achieved better yield...

    390-430nm Violet LED’s

Hi, Thanks for responding. Yes, I do understand that COBS are LED's. These are the COB's that I have in my light. Vero29 Generation 7 COB LED's. I brought up COB's because in one of your posts you responded to this question: "Has anyone used 390nm-430nm violet LED’s and if so to what effect...

    390-430nm Violet LED’s

Any speculation on the potential impact of COBs? I use Citizens Vero's. I have 5-1750k, 2-3k and 2-4k. Average color temp equals approximately 2530k.

It's been about 8 days since my last update here's the latest. So far, I'm quite happy with this grow. The buds are about 36 days in. I probably have another 3-4 weeks to go. As I mentioned, there is do damage to the plant and the buds seem ahead of schedule and full of frost and terpenes. My...

I agree. I'm not a fan of digital UV at this point. This is my set-up. As you can see these are fluorescent. Total of 80 watts UVA/B Reply Report

What gives. Can not figure her out

You should be fine with that line. Typically, you should use about half of what is suggested on the bottle. Once a week should be plenty until you hit flowering.

What gives. Can not figure her out

Just let it dry out a good bit after you flush it. Roots grow as they seek out water and nutrients. By letting it dry a bit the roots should start growing more vigorously. Are you using any beneficial bacteria or tea? That would help the grow environment too.

What gives. Can not figure her out

It looks like you have other plants growing along with her. Are they the same strain? Are they growing okay or are they showing similar issues? Personally, I would let her dry out as others have suggested. Also, 1200 ppm at what looks like early development is excessive. I'd flush her on the...

This is an update on my grow using a Timber Fatty with supplemental UV. I'm now in day 28 of flowering. The UV is used for 15 minutes at the start of every hour of the 12 hour light cycle. I'm seeing very little heat stress. For the last week I had the UV and grow light about 8 inches from the...

So, your 10 weeks into flowering. What is the estimated time for flowering for the strain(s) that you're growing? Sativa's that are harvested with amber trichomes are going to be more like an Indica high. If they're Indica's they are going to be stonier. Milky trichomes in most cases are...
