My entire outdoor run this year was for seed. I have a few rado in the mix. I created my own male and picked one after about a year of testing. I pollinated two phenos of Num Num, Grumpz F2, ruby frost, and birthday funk. I’m glad popped some rado too. Each Lady was very unique and decent...
Pie box getting ready for a new home soon. The cross is Macrib x sour apple. I can’t remember what Macrib is but I’m hoping sour apple flavors are there. Probably be a minute before I can get this into flower.
I got one female grumpz F2 from the freebies. A Mac / runtz leaner that was very thick. Very easy to grow and nice structure. I’ll probably pop the rest and see what’s up.
I didn’t take pics but there are some gems to be had in the Ruby Frost freebies. YMMV as this was a planned seed run outside. This one I regret not taking cuts of. Barely fed the thing. Pure apple juice smells with decent size yields. Strong enough branches to hold colas. Already doing...
Some people use them. I found they mess
With my ph and in general you are pumping unclean air from outside through your water. There is also a max of DO ( dissolved oxygen ) you can put in your water at a certain temp so pumping more in may not be helpful but looks bubbly and awesome. Use it if...
If you are using pebble and getting algae, just cover it with black plastic. Algae needs light to grow. Then using some southern AG gff in your res. Should be all set.
Grumpz F2 chocked full of seeds. She’s hardy and stinky with a strange Mac type smell. Male is archive (slurricane f1 x jelly pie). I expect these will be some of the first I pop when they finish cooking and curing.
I do this often. Lean the male branch flowers out of a cup of water over a plate or mirror in a still air room or tent. Let the pollen drop and collect.
The best thing about propagule counts is you can’t really verify them. There isn’t any regulation on selling mycorrhiza so they can put whatever they want on the bag. You don’t own the equipment to check up on them. and they all put way high numbers on there.
Most companies focus on one variety...
My out door num num are starting to get some smells. It’s the candy grape with powdery smarty candies things. I kept the larger of the two females for the cuts but they both smell the same.
The ruby frost I popped are pretty interesting. I didn’t keep any cuts but the one big mama is pretty...
I’ve been looking for that tropical runtz power pack and the Neptune restock hit just in time. Was pretty close to pulling the trigger on the shady site sooo phew.. gotta support the MI peeps.
Using regular male pollen on a feminized female plant will not cause issue with the progeny at all. As long as the female is stable in flower and doesn’t show any herm traits you are fine.
